Remarks

The course curriculum is good, college is following syllabus published by Kerala technological University (KTU). Exam structure consists of viva and written exam in case of lab and only writing in case of semester exams. Fee structure is feasible, 75000 INR is the yearly fee. College is also providing many management and community scholarships. students those who are from a poor family conditions are also supported my the college to pursue their degree.

Placement Experience

There is a placement cell in our college, about 80 percentage of outgoing students are placed. But IT companies are the majority. Placement cell faculties are providing personality development, stage introduction and interview training.

College Events

College is situated in kerala, all the religion and country event's are celebrated in a good manner. College are providing fund and there are many sponsorship available from outside college. Technical fest and sports are also supported.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible, 75000 INR is the yearly fee. College is also providing many management and community scholarships. students those who are from a poor family conditions are also supported my the college to pursue their degree.

There is a community scholarships and management scholarship which are provided by college and also by university. Loan facilitate are also Available from various bank at low interest rates. Federal bank is the main branch in our college.

Campus Life

All kinds of Sports are also supported. Football and cricket are the main sports in our college. There is college team in both sport, if anyone wishes to join the team one can get selected by selection process.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni corner is created in our college, alumni are always welcomed by our college and treat well. One can spend a whole day in alumni corner thinking all the memories. All the alumni will suggest Jyothi engineering college because the college have lots to explore.

Admission

Initially there was an entrance exam, through which I got admission according to my rank. After that there was an interview. The interview was little bit hard because they are selecting quality students.

Faculty

All the faculty have wide and deep knowledge in their field. Most of the faculties are PhD holders. Faculties are friendly and clear all the doubts that we have. Even if the doubts are complicated professors have a correct and exact answers.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

I have only applied to this college. One of my friend who was studying in this college suggested me this college. Because of my KEAM mark, I didn't get other government colleges for CSE. JECC is not for the weak.

As my college doesn't promote any festivals or celebrations its top most priority is to provide quality education to their students. Good Campus and enjoyed the time in there.

We had a common exam for the admissions. And the rank in the exam determines which college we get to study. I was trying to get into the government college. But didn't had enough rank to get the set. The real review

Actually when I was writing my boards I paid 10000 and they asked me to block myself a seat. They kept two conditions two score above 85 percentage in 12th and keam should be qualified.i happened to get both so after that I went back to college they gave me a check list of documents to bring for registration. I bought those they registered me in.
