The best thing is about the campus and the people. The campus is one of the largest in india and also it is very beautiful. Greenery is everywhere around the old heritage buildings. People are very liberal and it is quite delightful to make conversion with them.

The course curriculum is really good and also the way they framed the syllabus is appreciable. The course is divided in 4 semesters. Each year there are two semesters. Each semester has 4 papers of 100 marks. And there are sessional exams as well as internal exams.

Campusing takes place every year. Mainly newspaper agencies come for the campusing. Seminars also happen frequently. There are internships available in the semester breaks and also scholarship is available for meritorious students.

1. Spandan: the annual university fest. 2. Sansakriti: the annual college fest. 3. Digant: the annual photography exhibition and cultural evening. 4. Freshers' and farewell programs. 5. International seminars.

As it is a central University and autonomous institution as well, the fees are very much affordable for any student. For admission it costed 1,800?. And for even semesters it is around 300? and for odd semesters it is around 1,200?.

I do not know about it yet. But there are such facilities. Teachers and seniors are concerned about it. But as I am new here I could not make myself aware about this. Scholarships are available for meritorious students.

There is language lab which is required for our study. In case of activities there are so many opportunities. People are enthusiastic and there are annual magazines. There are also several clubs and societies for cultural activities. And for sport activities there are indoor and outdoor stadiums.

I have not opted for the hostel but I have seen the hostels. Each room has two beds and there are facilities for mineral water, electricity, sport activities, newspaper, proper washrooms and mess for fooding.

Teachers and seniors are very helpful. Professors are always available whenever we need them. Extra classes happen sometimes and even there is facility for the coaching of NET UGC examination. Workshops happen weekly. Seniors give the best guidance here.

I appeared in the entrance examination. My marks fulfilled the criteria and in I secured 77th ranked. Thus I got my call letter for the admission in my mail id. I attended the counseling and paid the fees. Thus I got admission here.

The faculty holds 28 teachers in total. There are professors, associate professors and assistant professors. Some of them were the student of this University, others are from different universities of the country.
