A college where only study matters

Studies are good but considering extra curricular activities our college lags a bit. Placement on core companies is also a issue here. The college is very strict in dress code, timing, holidays and on duties.

I actually completed Bio medical engineering where we learn about various medical equipment manufacturing, application, process, operations and servicing. The exam pattern are 5 internal exams and 1 main exam per semester. The internal exam is carried out for 50 marks where 7 2mark questions, 2 13mark questions and 1 10mark question will be asked. In semester exam 10 2marks, 5 13 marks and 1 15 mark question is asked.

Placement cell is doing good for other departments but considering our department it needs to be improved. Yes they are providing jobs for all but It is not upto the standards. Most of the placed students leave their job in our college placements. Mostly IT companies are coming and core industries are literally absent.

It is less when compared to other colleges in Coimbatore. You can also get various scholarships in our college. But when you generally say it is quite high. Accomodation are very cheap and if you stay outside also you can live cheap.

I have received scholarships from Ministry of minority affairs where I get yearly 5k to 6k. For achieving it you need to open one AC from nearby indian bank and you should get atleast 60% in previous semester examination.

Considering labs : The labs are good and well maintained you can use any components of your own but be careful with it because if any breakdown occurs you need to pay the breakdown fees. Considering sports our college shows less interest in sports. Hockey , table tennis, football and atheletics are sometimes encouraged.

All seniors are like our friends and we also have linkedin community called BEN where all seniors are there. Whenever there is an issue onsite we can contact them anytime. We also have several whatsapp group and we will meet often.

I actually get into this college by Anna University Engineering counseling where the 12th standard marks are taken into consideration and based on the merit seats will be allocated. Based on caste seats will be allocated by Anna University. So high to mid level marks students can easily get into this.

They are very kind and supportive all time. They will help you when you are a student or an alumni. Most caring and strong supporters. All faculty are talented and they know the subject well. At first they seem to be over strict as time goes on they are like our friend.
