Remarks

The college crowd is good and the seniors are always helping and supporting the juniors. They motivate the students at all times.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is good. College is fine in size but it is well maintained and disciplined. The canteen is also very nice. The sports activities taking place are very exciting and encourage the students to enhance their physical as well as mental capabilities. The Library is very well maintained. All the reference books are available there.

Placement Experience

The college placement is decent. The package is average and as per the course which we are pursuing.

College Events

So, in the month of February, Anugoonj takes place in Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce. All the college students from all the different colleges take part in this event. This is a very big event and conducted very well. Entrepreneurship Festival, Zest and Dandiya Night.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is 1 lakh per year. That sums up to 3 lakhs for a bachelor's program. If you include travelling expenses and everything, it increases to approximately 4 lakhs. The first-year fees were 84,000.plus 5,000 security money which is reimbursed at the end of 3 years after deducting 4,000.

I did not avail of any scholarship or education loan. Everything was self-financed and no scholarship was provided.

Campus Life

The college faculties are very kind and caring about their students. They are very courteous and intelligent people. They guide the students very well and help in making the students a better human being. They are very knowledgeable individuals and help students.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are kind and courteous. They help the juniors in all ways possible by guiding and encouraging them.

Admission

I gave an entrance test namely the Common Entrance Test. I got a rank and accordingly provided with the college options available in that rank. The admission process is very simple. The students are called to the college for admission process. The students are required to get a medical certificate.

The faculty is good and supporting. They help in every possible way. The college faculties are very kind and caring about their students. They are very courteous and intelligent people. They guide the students very well and help in making the students a better human being.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I hdd 90.89 percentile in my CAT 2024 and 93.18 percentile in XAT 2025. These are very good scores and make a candidate like me eligible for top B-schools. I converted a lot of B-schools but around the time of admission I struggled with a few medical reasons and the fact that most of the B-schools were very expensive. Truth about jims kalkaji

The eligibility of the course is to have 50% minimum marks in your undergraduate. The application form, fees, and any other information regarding admission are available on thier admission portal.
