Course Curriculum Overview

Good, we have 2 semester's per year and per semester we have 2 periodic tests and 3 quizs which adds some marks to final examination the evolution pattern is so genuine and every test has its quality.

Placement Experience

Placements are better and it depends on the student interest to go with their core or any software side.In my opinion my college has better in providing software jobs than core (with respective to the student branch).

College Events

We had a lots and lots of events going on as Being a IEEE PES Secretory even we conduct so many events based on technical aspects. The events are pretty much new and interesting so we will be having a good time by attending those events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure including hostel 3 lakh per annum and it increases gradually so compared to other colleges it is a bit expensive but it wolud be wirth as it enhance you to learn discipline and core motto of education.

Fees and Financial Aid

As every college provides you some scholarship, even my college provides this. Frankly speeking I don't had much idea about this but I heard that Amrita college understands your problems and it also helps you further.

We had the best ever shettlecourts,stadium etc and the maintenance is pertty good even labs are good with well equipped and the activities goes on daily interested persons turn up.On a scale of 10 I wolud give 8.

Hostel Facilities

Regarding rating the hostel infrastructure I wolud give 7/10. Has Clean rooms and also neat washrooms. But the food is a nightmare,as there will be no spices at all so it is difficult for most of all excluding this remaining was better.

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors are very friendly to us they encourage us in every aspect my best teachers are my seniors they helped me in my projects by giving their thoughts on the project. There is no ragging in our college.

Admission

By my Inter college I got to know about Amrita school of Engineering. I went through exam and cleared it with good rank so the trst is based on the Inter syllabus that includes your maths a maths b physics, chemistry of 2 years.

Regarding my college Amrita college Bangalore we had better faculty as they understand the student needs and criteria and teach accordingly so this is the good point to join here (amrita school of Engineering).

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Amrita from the eyes of a first year

We do have an entrance exam which is AEEE which I had in the online mode because of covid otherwise it is offline. Students are also admitted on the basis of their jee mains percentile also there exists a management quota.
