Remarks

My college have a many positive things is available. Students and Teachers relation is good and effort teach. Laboratory is good for our college. Sports ground is also available good water facilities is available.

Course Curriculum Overview

Chemistry is a very difficult subject.,I'm school studying Tamil medium college only English sudden change language is faced very difficult I'm very confused in entire study. Exam pattern is also difficult.

Placement Experience

Our college placement is available for in some department. Chemistry department is also available for placement offer but I'm did not selected for placement. Staffs are very supportive and train to the how to ready to face placement offers.

College Events

Our college more events are available. Students day, teaches day, pongal, deepavali, Christmas, cultural day, Indeco, department functions and Sports day. I'm participating Indeco program for drama competition our team for second prize.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I'm studying Aided course so is feasible for our studies. Aided course students college fee is very low compared to other colleges. Example one semester I have paying in 3,500 rupees. Other colleges fee more than 1000Rs

Fees and Financial Aid

Aided course students is available for scholarships. Scholarships based on community bases. SC/ST students have high scholarship amount as a rule for Tamil Nadu Govt. BC/MBC Students Low amount Compared to other community students.

Campus Life

Students extra activities fully grown opportunity for our college. NSS and NCC,Green Environment is also available. Sports is mainly available our students state level achieved in many Games. Also selected national games.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is very good and neat fully controlled by Rev. Fr.strict and friendly moving for students and also very helpful to studying.sports training also helped for students is very encouraging staffs

Our Alumni is very helpful for our college and students improve our college is life improved. My college started 95years ago. So many alumni students are available and high position for Indian government.

First time college joining I am so excited. First time iam staying hostel. Admission process is certificate verification and interview process. Xaviers college is famous Arts and Science college in south Tamilnadu.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

The Vibrant Life at St. Xavier's Mumbai

I applied to IIM Indore, St. Xavier's mumbai, TAPMI Manipal and I had given CET exam to apply for colleges in Mumbai. I did not clear the IPMAT exam as I prepared only for 2 months, so I didn't make it to iim indore. St. Xavier's being one of the top colleges in India was my next choice. I also got into TAPMI Manipal but I chose Xavier's over it as the ROI was better. For admission in Xavier's you've to clear the Xavier's Entrance Test (XET) for BMS, BMM and BSC-IT. Post which you'll get a call if your name is in the merit list. Rest of the process is done in the college itself, where you'll be asked to submit your documents and fill out some forms. Campus life at xaviers

I choose Xavier's because the BMS course it offers is one of the best and is very affordable as well , I was comparing Xavier's with christ,nmis etc. the BMS course offered in their college is extremely expensive and not as reputed as Xavier's and the placements that they offers is not good as Xavier's as well,Xavier's also has a good alumini and good word of mouth than these colleges, as for the admission into courses like BMS ,BMM,BSC-IT there is an entrance test called XAT and we have to clearit, the weightage is 60% score form the entrance test 40% from board exam scores and the final round will be an interview after which it is decided if one is selected for the course or not there is a reservation for Christan quota in the college as it is an Jesuits run college...Read More
