Remarks
If one is opting for CSE or IT he can be sure to get placed in a good company with an average package of 4-5 lakh per annum. And if he is good in studies and skills he could landup getting a salary of more than 10 lakh per annum.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well, course is all similar to any other superior college. But, the facilities for mechanical engineering students are not upto the level of the fees and cost a student has to bear through out graduation.
Placement Experience
Well, when I was there, in my final year when we use to get chance to be placed in a company, the placement department couldn't able to get any core mechanical company to recruit us. No good company. At last we end up joining IT companies with average package of about 4 lakh per annum.
College Events
There is yearly function (fest) named (mridang & techsurg) and many other where the whole college participate in various events like paintball, fashion programme, robo wars, celebrity comes to perform sometimes, and much more.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For a middle class family, it would be expensive to get their child to get graduated from this college. When I was there, its about a lakh per annum for all student. No concession for ST, SC, OBC students at all.
Fees and Financial Aid
Not that I know of. Though I knew some students who use to get some scholarship of Tution fees, but not sure how they use to get that. I am pretty sure that all students give full fees. No concession to ST, SC, OBC students.
Campus Life
As far as IT, and Electrical department are concerned, they have sufficient facilities in college. But, as I am mechanical graduate, I can tell u that mechanical department have not much facility available. While making major projects we use to go to other colleges nearby for help on some machines.
Alumni/Alumna
As far as if they can they will help u like a brother or sister at times. Both alumni and seniors help the juniors very well in all aspects. In our mechanical department, every student were like brothers.
Admission
I gave entrance exam conducted by Indraprastha University GGSIPU. There will be a single phase written exam with subjects of physics chemistry and mathematics. Then after that next round is counseling where they call according to rank they secure in exam, where you can decide if which college and department u want to join and if available you can get it.
Faculty
They are fine. But, if one has to really learn to be well knowledgeable on a particular subject. There is no professional faculty. But ok ok. But if they could help you out, they won't make any excuses for that.
