Remarks

Commoditization can make higher education far more accessible for non-traditional students, but given the competition beginning to characterize the marketplace, it is becoming more difficult for students to determine which programs are right for them.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Like many students at university, you may be unhappy about the results you attain in exams. You may feel that even with all you are doing there must be something more -- or different-- you could be doing to get better grades. We have all at some time or other heard of that student who only studies a couple of hours for final exams and scores A's every time. We stand in awe of those who seem to breeze through without undue effort and seem to need very little in the way of studying to nail an exam. The reasons for success, in what I think are the vast majority of cases, are less esoteric than many students think: successful students consistently apply a series of productive strategies with view to attaining clearly identified learning and grade goals throughout the academic term.

Placement Experience

3.5

One of the best ways to improve your chances of finding employment after graduation is to participate in an internship during your school years. You can gain hands-on experience in your chosen field, significantly increase your networking contacts, and learn how corporate cultures, environments, and structures work. However, it’s also important that you put in the effort to find the right internship for you.

College Events

4.5

On-campus events play an important role in shaping the social and intellectual fabric of your university’s campus. But if you want to draw a crowd, you’ll need to look beyond the standard fare. Lectures, study groups, and job fairs all have their place, but college students, especially freshman, are looking for new and authentic ways to connect. Make your on-campus event stand out with these Instagram-worthy event ideas. TEDx talks Did you know that the iconic idea-sharing forum TEDx started as a campus event at USC in 2009? Now, the platform encourages campuses to start their own version of the digitally evolved lecture series. Capturing such talks on video makes for powerful, potentially viral social media. For details on how to start a campus TEDx, visit the website.

Fee Structure And Facilities

One feels the fee structure is a bit high. But it's quite reasonable as compared to the other B-school. The only good thing is that IIBS has good placement assistance. IIBS has good ROI. My overall expenditure was around 6 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Few college-bound students have the financial resources to pay for their post-secondary education entirely out of pocket. Even students with substantial college savings plans typically find that they are left with sizable amounts of unmet need. The average total cost of attending a public four-year college is more than $20,000 per academic year. Students planning to attend a private college or university can expect to spend more than $30,000 per academic year. A college education is a costly proposition, and all indications are that those costs are only going to increase.

Campus Life

4

Before we get into the nitty gritty, let’s take a deeper look at the definition of extracurricular activities. The word extracurricular is a combination of the prefix extra, which translates to “on the outside” and curriculum, which translates to “a running course/career.” Extracurricular activities are activities that fall outside the scope of your regular curriculum.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

One of the key contributors to an intensive learning experience is living in campus. A well-furnished and aesthetically designed hostel with separate wings for boys and girls has been constructed with a view to provide best possible facilities to the students, Hostel is located in the same campus and is about 500 hundred meters from the institute building. Campus is under the surveillance of CCTV camera and provides safe environment for girl candidates.

Alumni/Alumna

Creating an engaged, supportive alumni network is crucial to an institution’s success. If communication stops once graduates leave an institution, their understanding of the university will become stale. Instead, they should be kept informed so they can remain engaged and keep abreast on the progress of the university. Good alumni relationships bring many benefits to both the institution and the alumni. Here we speak to HE professionals who work in Alumni Relations about the benefits of maintaining an engaged alumni network and how the market is changing.
