There is lot of good in the university. The teaching and the faculty members are from well renounced background. There is many opportunities for us to participate in many extracurricular activities. There is a very good plateform for that. The only con I can think of is the laziness of the administrative sysytem. They have the laziest people in the university. Because of that there is many mistakes in result declaration and most of the time we have to wait for 4-5 month for the declaration of the results.

The courses here have a very versatile syllabus. Sometimes it gets a little stressful to cover the big range of syllabus. But overall you can do well if you keep up with your studies. The exams structure is different for different departments. But mainly there are 1 or 2 mid-semester exams and a final exam at the end of the semester.

There is a placement cell in the university. But they are not active as they should be. You have to pressurize them to conduct a placement meeting with companies or such. Even then also they might not conduct it. Ultimately it's all on you after you get the degree.

There are a few events that are celebrated in the university General Freshers meet, Youth fest, Saraswati Puja, Varsity Week. Apart from them, there are many celebrations but they are more department oriented.

The fee structure is actually feasible for most courses. The courses for the commerce sections are a little higher than others. MBA and integrated commerce courses have a higher fee structure than others (almost double).

There are many scopes for scholarships in the university. Some of them are based on merit on the previous academic record, some are based on current academic performance and some are based on the caste categories.

There are many extracurricular activities you can participate in the university. The choice is always yours in which aspect you would like to participate. They comducts many seminars and lab sessions for the students. And the versity week is mainly based on extracurricular activities only.

The seniors and the alumni are quite helpful in mybopinion. They try to help you in and out of university as much as possible. Its upto you to keep in touch with them. But if you ask them for help they will always try to help you.

I appeared in the entrance exam conducted by the university. I had to 1st apply online for the course I want to study on the university website. When the application process is successful then you have to pay a minimum amount as a fee. Then the entrance exam was conducted. And when the results of the entrance exam were declared they conducted a counseling process for admission and provided seats to the students according to their entrance test result ranks.

I would say preety decent. Most of them has good amount of knowledge on the matter of teaching and their specialities. But some are just average on the teaching aspects. But on the knowledge part they are good.
