The campus is small and the college is just like a school.

Course Curriculum Overview

For appearing in the exam you need to be prepared in logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, verbal ability, current affairs. The question paper carries I guess around 120 questions and each question carries 4 marks and for a wrong answer negative marking of 1 mark.

Placement Experience

The placement cell is there for the 3 rd year students for which the external recruiters come and recruit the students according to the competence of the students and keeping in mind their requirements.

College Events

Jims take part in different cultural programs and whether organized by the Jims or other colleges. Students are always free to take part in any of the competitions or events whether they are organized by the Jims or not. They are in the fest of Jims and also zest in which there is competition among the different colleges of Jims.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are more than 1lakh rupees for one year. And other than that the college has an extracurricular value-added course whose enrollment is up to a student. Value-added course changes every semester. And other than that there is no many expenses in the college.

No, I have not opted for any educational scholarship but college will send to a link to opt for the same when you join the college.

Campus Life

The college does not have any such lab as it is a management college. But it does organize and take part in different competitions and students also on their on can take part in any competition taking part in or outside Jims, there is no restriction for the student.

Ya, everyone in the college is very helpful. They can help you at any point in time. You can directly contact them or ping them up or mail them as convenient.

Admission

I filled in the ipu CET admission form at the official site of Indraprastha University. Downloaded my admit card and attempted the ipu CET exam. And according to my rank, I received the college of ipu. Ipu CET exams are conducted all over India for the deserving candidates and in the ipu university the seats are reserved even for the Delhi students and different reservation categories are they are like Delhi sc, Delhi st, Delhi general, outside Delhi sc, outside Delhi st, Delhi Sikh, and many more.

The faculty is very easily accessible. You can talk to any teacher in the college and if you have any doubts at any time of the day you can call the faculty(seeing the time) or just drop a message to the faculty abt the doubt or problem concerned. Teachers are always there to help the students and help the students to get rid of the problem.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I hdd 90.89 percentile in my CAT 2024 and 93.18 percentile in XAT 2025. These are very good scores and make a candidate like me eligible for top B-schools. The eligibility of the course is to have 50% minimum marks in your undergraduate. The application form, fees, and any other information regarding admission are available on thier admission portal.
