Remarks
I hated that college, one of the mistakes that i ever done. The facilities and facilities where anywhere helpfull but some good ones where there. A startup club formed in my final year as it was really good and helped us in some ways. Its a new college, so it has its cons. But nevertheless i had some good memories that I could cherish.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college is follows the MG university syllabus. Its average as its not the best university out there. The teachers are mediocre and the facilities they provide are below average. Since the college is also low on ranking, the students admitted there ate also less proficient. All around, it not a good college.
Placement Experience
No real placements. Including me there where some good students passed from the college, but only certain call centers like Sutherland or some mediocre IT companies came for placement. The ranking of the college is pretty low hence the low placements.
College Events
We celebrated out anual ONAM celebration, christmass, Art fest and no techfest. The only college that doest have a teckfest. The college also doest provide us with any funding, so we couldn't properly do anything about them.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are pretty high for the college for their level of education methods. I had about 75000 per annual fees, now it has decreased since the lack of students, and since engineering is loosing value in the market.
Fees and Financial Aid
Student loans are easy to get, on request the college provide us with documents which can be submitted at the bank for loan. If you are of a minority class, there is minority scholarship. I got about 30k per annum for 4 years. That was a big relief.
Campus Life
We had occasional football matches, cricket matches, basketball, shuttle matches. Once we had a chess championship too. After class games where the best. The college provide us with all the equipments for the games.
Hostel Facilities
The college doesnt have any mens hostel, only the ladies hostel. We stayed in a private hostel near to the college. The hostel fees also where pathetic for their bad food, the 4 years i stayed there was a hell to say the truth. only the friendship i had was comforting.
Alumni/Alumna
My college was pretty new, there where only 2 senier year before us. Pretty brutal to us, ragging mostly, but i was fun in a way. Quickly became friends with them afterwards. Still have contacts with them too. They where not helpful with the studies as they as well where dumb as us.
Admission
After annual entrance examination, I applied with the score I won to almost all colleges in kerala. And by determining my mark with the other students who i applied, I was selected to this college in the year 2013, depending on the ranking of the colleges.
Faculty
As I have said before, the facilities are mediocre, their teaching methods are not well and they couldn't take care or control their students. Many fights occurred throughout the campus and the faculties where less efficient in controlling them.
