To my turning point

Very beautiful and wide campus. Highly active college union. Large space for sports. Qualified teachers for oru academic betterment. Effective lab facilities. Rich libraries. Moreover peaceful environment.

Time period for each subjects in each subject is comparatively less. It can also said by , more to cover in less time. As I'm studying in a government , there are many events and programs. Students have to find time for those along with the studies which is large. There are 8 semesters for 4 years. For each semester, there will be two internals. Students must have to score a minimum mark in the internal to even attend in the final semester exam. Before that, when one to attend an internal exam, their attendance percentage should be higher than 75% in each subjects.

Yes, our college has got many placements and job opportunities for students. Our college has got TBI centre for encouraging innovative business ideas. Since I'm a 5 th semester student now, I'm not in the category for sitting in various placements.

Since it's a government college, the fee structure is feasible and many opportunities for getting scholarships based of academic brilliance and even on cast base. Tuition fees is paid by the government for each student of the college.

E-grants scholarship. This scholarship is for the students belonging to OBC. The amount of the financial assistance that is given to students through this scheme is based on the current qualification. The fee concession is reflected on the semester course fees that each has to pay every semester beginnings.

Our college has got a physical education wing , which enhance students interest in each games. We got a strong football, cricket, basketball teams. Apart from that , there is team for shuttle, chess and a team for the game ko-ko is also started a camp in this year. Students are blessed with good and efficient labs.

Alumni contribute for the betterment of college activities. Senior Students are also helpful for the academic as well as for the extra curricular activities of the students. All are very friendly. The beauty of our college is that the coordination between seniors and juniors.

There was an entrance exam called KEAM, and I have got 6061 rank. After the entrance exam is conducted, we got a notification of adding our higher secondary marks for physics, chemistry and maths to the site. After the final evaluation, I have got a rank of 6061 with this rank, I applied for several engineering courses in different colleges. I am now at government College of engineering Kannur, which was my fourth option in the allotment list.

All facilities are highly qualified. There are some, who are looking the profession as a time pass entertainment. But at the same time, highly dedicated facilities are need to be appreciated in my college.
