Remarks
Our college is a place where students can realize their potential and can deviate their careers in that path. It need not be a technical-related one. Our college has a single academic block where students of different branches study. It enables students to interact with each other and develop a strong interaction between them.
Course Curriculum Overview
College is following the syllabus of APJ Abdul kalam technological university. Almost all colleges in the state follow this syllabus. The syllabus covers the basic core subjects and a few advanced modern subjects.
Placement Experience
The college has a well-established career guidance and placement unit. On average, 200 students get placed every year. Most of the recruiters are from the IT sector and a few mechanical core companies also visit the campus.
College Events
College gives great importance to celebrations. Freshers day is celebrated in every odd sems where new students will get an opportunity to show their talents. Elections and sports days are also held in the even semesters. Sargam Chitram Thalam is our arts fest and Cult away is our cultural fest. Both of them are conducted in a grand way by students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
There is 3 type of tuition fee structure.35000 per year for state merit students,65000 per year for management students, and 100000 per year for NRI students. In addition to this, there are about 7000 rupees of the miscellaneous fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
An award is given by the college every year for the toppers of every branch in the name of a late teacher of the college. In addition to this students can avail themselves of various other scholarships offered by state and central governments.
Campus Life
The college has a very good lab facility for every branch. Every lab is well equipped with various funds like Teqip. The college has no sports ground. But it has some other facilities like a basketball court, badminton court, volleyball court, mini football ground, etc.
Alumni/Alumna
The college has a well-organized alumni network. They are highly supportive in terms of providing opportunities for students. The college has alumni associations in different countries in the world. Sometimes they organize funds for the development of the college.
Admission
I wrote KEAM and secured a rank of around 6K. I got admission here in the SM MU quota. Mechanical and Computer Science are the most preferred branch in our college. Only meritorious students will get admission here.
Faculty
All the faculties of our college are well qualified. About 80% of the facilities are permanent. Guest facilities are young and are qualified from reputed institutes in the country. They won't give notes and we have to write notes on our own.
