Remarks
Overall COEP is an excellent college. It is one of the top most colleges in Maharashtra or we can say all over India. It provides good extra curricular activities as well as training in engineering and good placements as well.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of coep is excellent. Being an autonomous institute it sets its own curriculum. The management of coep owns syllabus with their own willingness for each and every subject. Three exams are conducted per semester with the wastage of 20 + 20 + 60.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities are excellent in coep. All the main branches bags around 100% placement for all students with good packages as well. Many of the students get internships as well as placement in the third year itself.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college of engineering Pune managers to get scholarships and loan facilities. The State Bank of India loan facility is there for many backward class students. Also a tuition fee waiver scheme in organised my Government of Maharashtra for economically backward class students. There are number of private scholarships and loans given by many firms.
Campus Life
There are around 60 old clubs in coep such as maths club, science club, debate club in both Hindi and English languages, robot study Circle, satellite club, delta club, data structure and artificial intelligence club.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I have opted for the hostel. The food of hostel is excellent. The hostel of coep manages to get variety of food with good quality at minimal prices. The infrastructure of hostel is not so good for boys.
Alumni/Alumna
The network is not so good. The alumnis who are settled in Pune itself can be useful but the population is not that high that they can create any change through their alumni network. This one part of coep should be taken into consideration.
Admission
Admission of coep is through MH CET exam conducted by the government of Maharashtra each and every year for 12th class students. It is a top job to get into coep because they take admission only on merit basis.
Faculty
The faculty of college excellent and supportive. They encourage all students for participating in extra curricular activities. They always try to initiate something new from the student. No straight regulations are for there for students from the faculty side in coep.
