Remarks
College is situated in a hill station which rejuvenate our minds. But the negative point is that we had only very few placement drives and the infrastructure in our college should also improve. We only had few workshops in our college also.
Course Curriculum Overview
I'm a BTech student. which has an extension of four years and right now I'm in fifth semester.(3rd year).so remaining I need to complete one more year. We totally have eight semester and our fifth semester exam will be on December.
Placement Experience
Since our college is in a hill station it is very hard enough for the people to come to our campus and also there are very few placements in our campus because of this purpose. For attending any placement cells we should travel to another college.
College Events
We initially had a fresher's day and after the election we had a grant union inauguration.Apart from that the most vibrant event is our techfest called Advaya which contains more technical events as well as arts events too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I am studying in a Government engineering College in Idukki in Kerala. Since it is a government engineering College compared to other private colleges we had a privilege of fee consession. But the hostel fee ,Mess bill and travelling expenses makes me more expensive rather than private colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, right now we don't have any scholarship offered by our college. Inorder to take the loan I think education loan will be available for me. But apart from the side of the college scholarship and loans are not provided.
Campus Life
Our college has very poor facilities for extra curricular activities but we have a gym unlucky the infrastructure is too bad. In our Curriculum there is lab so Lab facility is available in our Campus.
Hostel Facilities
Im been in a hostel called DTPC men's hostel in Idukki. The hostel is very old enough and it's so risky to live there but we don't have any other option to stay other hostel.Because it is nearer compared to other hostels and per month rent is ?750 and Mess bill (2000 nearly).
Alumni/Alumna
No they are not helpful. Since our college is in a hill station it is very hard enough for the people to come to our campus and also there are very few placements in our campus because of this purpose
Admission
After completing my plus two. I wrote KEAM entrance exam and got passed in it and also my plus two marks also been added in it and I got admission in Government engineering College Idukki in kerala. Recently I'm in fifth semester.
Faculty
Very well experienced faculties and most of them are temporary staffs compared to permanent staffs.But eventhough the class is well and good. Our class advisor prof.Jabin Mathew is also temporary staff.
