WHY NOT TO TAKE KIET GHAZIABAD

The college academics is very poor. It sucks out the whole energy from you, pressurizes you. Also the coordination between various segments such as administration, academics, hostel Managment is very poor. At last due to this students get sandwhiched between various departments.

The placement is pretty average here. By average I mean 3-3.5 lpa.Most the students get placed under this package band only. This package band recruiters are mostly IT based companies which take students irrespective of their branch thereby the whole study of core branch students becomes useless. About 70-80 students or even less gets respectable package of 6 lpa or above from which also includes core companies recruiters. 1 or 2 even get packages above 10-13 lpa. College is not able to manage its academics efficiently so it doesn't offer internship.

Hostel fee is way too much for the facilities it offers, there is no specific study hall inside the hostel.Also one hostel named aththi is too far away from main campus. The College's academic fee somewhat ok but they also levy book chargers on us of RS.7000 give us book temporarily for one semester only also the labs here are pretty average consisting of old euipments.

Scholarship is provided by University for those students with Family income less than 1.5 lakhs per annum. Also you can also apply in fee waiver category during counselling and your academic fee would be around 20k INR. Institute also give money to students who have scored more than 75% in the semester exam is about INR 500 but not any one of us got it till now.

For Sports we have ground for each and every major sports.But quantity is very deficient.For instance i can tell you that i went to play badminton.I stayed there for 2 hours and the total time for which i got ton play was about half an hour.As there is only two badminton court in the whole college campus. The college sports store is only a hoax. It has nothing substantial present in which canbe borrowed.

Hostel Fees is very high And the to facility it provide despite taking such a high fees is nothing infront of the private PG's present in the vicinity of the college. In first year i stayed in Athithi Hostel which for no reason is located 5 km away from the college.It the worst hostel of the College as you have be ready for college one hour prior to other students who stay inside the hostel.Moreover it inside jungle type area that arises a constant fear of snakes.Also Since college lies behind the Delhi- Meerut Highway students are more prone to accidents here.

The Alumni network of this college is almost negligible which is evident from it's website.Most of the successful person who have stayed in this college at any point of the time are successful because of the steps which they have taken after graduating from college. The Senior interaction which you would have will be when you will join any of the club.Seniors are generally very helpful but the interaction is being limited by college.

Few of the faculties are good. From the remaining ,Half are average teachers while other half is of bad teachers. If you are getting a bad teacher then that subject is totally dependent on you. In this case your friend circle matters a lot. Although in then college website you can find that most of the faculty are P.H.D qualified but simply they aren't capable of teaching. At the end you will be on yourself with your friends assisting you in your academics.
