Review for my college.

After becoming autonomous this year we are the first batch and change are visible is curriculum our director general mam took on board IIT professors and HOD's to give there imput in curriculum which has improved the curriculum a lot we have been taught DSTL which is very important subject in first year also we have been taught COLD(computer organisation and logic design)there subjects were taught in later years but they taught us this in first year.The curriculum make us ready to face real world problems by organising Hackathons and many tech festivals to bringing entrepreneur to give us the idea about corporate world which helps us in positive way.Exams are very frequent and the difficulty level has always been moderate to difficult which helps students to understand concepts very well.

The college helps in providing many internship opportunities for every student in the summer break after one month college will provide internship for everyone for one month.You can apply in many companies for the internship in different sectors in which the college helps you a lot.

Placements are good this year most of the students get placed.Many companies visit such as JP Morgan.The highest package for my branch this year was 60lpa and average being 6lpa.Approx 90% students get placed.

In KIET Ghaziabad the fees is taken on yearly basis which is 1.4 lakhs per annum for CSE(AI&ML) branch in which i study this fees includes tuition fees,examination fees,and miscellaneous fees.And 8000rs is taken yeearly which is the registrayion fees for AKTU other than this no fees it taken.The fees for all categories is same and it is affordable and the college also halps in availing UP Scholarship which is given by UP Government yearly for certain student you come under the eligibility set by the government.

There are many exciting clubs in the college in every field.Fests are an integral part here the cultural fest EPOQUE happens in the month of March.The library is well equipped with almost every book available.The infrastructure of classes is top notch.The college provides every sports with table tennis, football, cricket, lawn tennis being some of them.There are many students run clubs DevUps, Innogeeks are few among them.

The hostels in my college is like very good hotels very very good clean and well equiped rooms with proper beds for each student and a seperate study table and cupboard for everyone and clean washroom and the rooms also have AC's in it. The mess food is extremely good with so much variety the mess provides food 4 times a day with so much options and very tasty food. The registration process for the hostel in done through the college portal CyberVidya and the hostel costs 107000rs for triple sharing or double sharing non AC rooms and 110000rs for single non AC room and for AC room it costs 137000rs per year and there are many hostels and PG available in the locality other than the college hostels.

I got this college from my jee mains rank and UPTAC counselling I applied for JECRC University in which i got selected in CSE branch but I dropped it because it has so many students they admitted every student but in this college there is limited intake and seats are filled strictly on merit basis no donation is accepted just 15% seats are filled through direct admission which also involves written test and interview in college.To take admission in this insititute, you have to score good in JEE Mains exam and must have good percentage in class 12th after JEE you have to apply for UPTAC counselling.Through that you can get admission here.

Faculties are very good and extremely supportive.If you have a plan and want to pursue it,they will help you in every possible way.Most of the faculties are PhD holders and have good background.Teaching is done on smart boards and many group discussions also happen in class. Student to faculty ratio is very good.There are many good faculties but few stand out in my department Dr Chandra Mohan Batra(HOD of first year)also teach calculus and linear algebra he is so helpful and so knowledgable and other is Mr Bikki Kumar my AI faculty Btech from NIT and masters from DTU he is very supportive and helpful he goes out of his comfort to help the students in every possible way.There a total 2 mid semester exams, 5 class assesments and end semester examination in a year and many class quizzes.

The night life is very good in my college rating it 5 out 5. There are two gyms in the college and 2 reading halls a central cafeteria and many small outlets for chilling. The college gates are closed for first year students at 8pm and for second year onwards it is 10pm you can roam in college as late as you want you can celebrate birthdays in college at night in the ground.There are 6 hostels in college you can come and go out of the hostels at any time you want but you cannot leave the college after 8pm.The most famous hangout places in college is Healthy Hut, Big Treat, Cafeteria.The locality is very safe to roam around at night.
