My college life

College campus is pretty good but there are other colleges in same campus. Also the college is exactly beside the main road so there is a lot of disturbance due to vehicles. Other than this there is nothing.

Our college provides the best education possible. It is NAAC as well as NBA accredited. Being in mechanical branch I've seen professors teaching till the students understand and then moving to practicals. Our college makes sure you don't fall back in any aspect, we have mock tests right from First year to make us practice for main exams. I've seen our college spend lots on new equipment to make students aware and learn about new upcoming technologies. Apart from this our colleges has extra curricular activities to find out talent in students, like departmental events, annual gathering, sports and also participates in competitions like BAJA and ROBOCON.

Our colleges helps students with internships in 2nd, 3rd and 4th year. Placements are pretty good than other private colleges. There is more than 80% placements in our college including all branches. Companies like Amazon, Zensar, Mahindra & Mahindra visit our college every year to recruit students from all branches.

All the regional events like Marathi Bhasha divas, Hindi Bhasha din and etc. Also events like International Yoga Day, Foreign University fair for students and Events about research and developments. Then there are departmental events in every semester and all department combined cultural event.

Fees are based on government criteria for students who got admission through DTE. Government has set some limitations to fees for particular reservation category students or Low family income students.

College does not offer any scholarships to students but if a particular student has low family income he/she can avail scholarships provided by government of Maharashtra (Resident of Maharashtra). Other than this there are no scholarships for students.

There are 3 different events (technical and non-technical games) from 3 departments each in each semester to make students participate and teach them management skills. Along with this our college participates in University level football, cricket and badminton tournaments. Also our college participates in National level BAJA competition and International level ROBOCON. Every year there is a workshop for students on robotics and small competition is held in college to compete robots made by students.

Every year there is a seminar for students where alumni visit and interact with their Junior and tell them what is situation in industry, what shall you practice on time and where to go to work in your interest fields.

After my 12th I gave Comment Entrance Test (CET Maharashtra), it is a government controlled admission process under DTE (Directorate of Technical Education) where you create your profile submitting all the documents i.e 10th marks, 12th marks, CET marks etc. DTE lets you know when the admissions will start. Before that there is a pre preference form to fill on what college do you want and what branch you want. Depending on your primary marks (CET) and secondary marks (12th and 10th) and your preference list of colleges (also cut off of colleges) you are allotted a seat in college which you fit in. If you don't want the college you have been allotted, there are 2 more rounds in which they allot you seat on your marks and preferences as mentioned above. I got my college in 2nd round.

Very supportive faculty and dedicated to make students understand each and everything rather than just teaching and leaving students on their own whether they understood or not. Each and every faculty has completed their PhD and are willing to pass on their knowledge to students.
