Everything in the college is good. Nothing bad is there in the college just the college campus is small and its infrastructure needs some work.
Course Curriculum Overview
Silicon institute of technology is known for its exam structure. The exam is done in a very strict way. In the whole class, there will be 4-5 invigilators, 24*7 live running cameras, and even the toilets are also inside the exam Hall. if a student is caught cheating then very strict action against him/her is taken. In silicon institute of technology if you don't study then you will suffer, it's not like the other engineering colleges. And to seat in the examination, a student must have a minimum of 80% attendance.
Placement Experience
Most of the students get jobs in their last year on the college campus. Many companies come to silicon institute every year. TCS company is the one that recruits a maximum number of students. Yes, the college provides internships. This year I joined the college, when I will do my internship I describe my experience.
College Events
Many events are celebrated in the college for music, dance to coding. Even you can learn a lot from those events. Some events like singing, open mic even some festivals like Diwali, Holi, silicons fest, and many more are celebrated in a very beautiful way.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is 135000. From the coming year, it's going to be 155000 comparing it with other colleges its quite less. But according to a middle-class man, it's a little expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you score more than 9 CGPA then you get enrolled in the scholar club and get a stipend. And for a loan, you can apply it in the vidyalaxmi portal.
Campus Life
Labs are a little small but good. It's compulsory for all to attend the labs. The college has many sports like basketball, volleyball, football, and badminton. In the college, there is also a gym and the trainer there is very friendly and guides you very well.
Alumni/Alumna
Most of the alumni are an inspiration to us. Like the CEO of lecture notes, Biggie's many officers who are in high posts, and even the film actors. Some seniors in our college are good and some are bad. Bad seniors will take your intro daily and unwillingly you are bound to give your intro.
Admission
First, you have to appear for jee exam. After that, you can apply for admission to the silicon institute of technology. You can apply online. When you apply for admission you have to give preference to the branches you want to get. Then acc to your rank you will get your branch. If you are satisfied with the choice. You can go to the college on a given date and complete the other procedures like fee payment and your choice locking.
Faculty
All the faculties are good, friendly, some are a little strict but they are always available for the students. In case a faculty is not teaching well and the whole class gives a complaint then immediate action is taken by the Dean. Dean is very conscious regarding the education quality and the examination structure.
