My college review

The infrastructure of our college is extremely well. The college campus is surrounded by trikuta hills with the holly atmosphere of mata vaishno devi. The college is far away from city, which provides a noise free and wuite atmosphere for study. Academics, library, hostel, activities etc are the positive sides of our college. The only negative part is the placement facility. The college should focus on placement possibilities.

My college offers many UG and PG courses as B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Sc, M.Sc, MBA, B.Arch etc. B.Tech and M.Tech courses are available in ECE, ME, CSE, EE, CE and Bio Technology. The exams are conducted semester wise. Each semester has three main written exams- Minor 1, Minor 2 and Major, and lab examination for practical. The total number of marks are 100, 20-20 marks for minor, 50 marks for major and 10 marks for assignment. The lab exam is also of 100 marks.

This is the negative part of our college. The placement opportunities are very less in our college and the college also not provide intership and training for the students. There is no any industrial visit for students. The placement possibilities are very rare in our college.

Our college celebrates many annual fest and events. Titiksha is the annual technical fest of our college, in which many technical fests and fairs are organised by students. Resurgence is the annual cultural and literature fest. Sarang is the annual sports fest. All the above mentioned events and fests are organised in every year by our college. Almost all festivals are also celebrated in our college.

The fee structure of our college is feasible at that time when I was studying. The annual tuition fee was 60000 rupees for two semesters, which is not very expensive. Hostel and mess fee is also very feasible for students. But now the annual tuition fee, hostel fee, and mess fee are increased by a large margin, which becomes quite expensive for students at present time.

Our college provide the scholarship for students of highest ranks at the admission time. The college administration also provides the scholarship to students who has cgpa above 8.0 in all semesters. The scholarship is given in the form of semester fees concession.

This is the strongest part of our college. Our college is always conducts exta curricular activities such as yoga, meditation, marathon, fests, dj nights, seminars, workshops, theatre etc. Various sports tournaments and lab workshops are organised in every year.

Our college provides hostel facility within the college campus. The hostel facility is mandatory for each and every student. Hostels are different for boys and girls. That time when i was studying, it costs annual 16000 rupees for single occupancy, 13000 rupees for double occupancy and 10000 rupees for triple occupancy. The mess fee was 25000 rupees per year. The hostel infrastructure was good and facilities provided by hostel management was also good.

The college students and faculty members are always connected with alumni network. Even there is a different committee to handle alumni network. Our college organise alumni meet every year to interact students with their alumnies and alumnies share their success stories with the students in these meets.

The faculty members have good knowledge of subjects. They are highly qualified from reputeted colleges of india. They guided the students for their future goals. They cover the syllabus within the given time and take weekly quizzes and tests. Overall the faculty members are good enough.
