Positive Remark: Socially helpful to others. Contribute funds to charitable trust. Negative Remark : Lot of procedures required to sanction different aminities. Does not support more for sports related items

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is more simple and easy to the students. Each subject exam consist of marks out of 100marks. Contains 3 parts. Part A consist of 30marks.Part B consist of 30 marks. And part C consist of 40marks.

Placement Experience

Lot of students got placed from our college. Infosys,technopark ,litmus etc come to our college and conduct placement drives. Our college provides internship in the form of workshops by different clubs of our college.

College Events

AAROH (National Level Techno Cultural Fest)- lots of general,departmental,club events are conducted under this tech fest. Major workshops are conducted at this time FORTIUS (Sports Meet) Exhibitions are conducted in our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Merit Fees - Rs.35,000 Management fees - Rs.65,000 NRI fees - Rs.1,05,000 Merit and Management fees are collected from the students on the basis of their ranks scored in the entrance exam. Fee waiver are those for students who score very high ranks in the entrance exam

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships and loans are provided by our college for education purposes. Scholarship like Merit cum means scholarship are provided to students who have an annual income of 1.2lakhs. Reservations are applied to students from low caste. Loans are provided to students who are financially backwards.

Yeah,they are good,not so much. College only focuses more on studies. They do sports for just to show upcoming admissions. Students have to run for to sanction these activities. Our physical trainer is absent minded

I wrote the entrance exam KEAM. I passed in the exam. My name was on the merit list. I choose different colleges as option. I got allotment to this college. I wwnt to the college and took admission from the college

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

My college, college of Engineering Adoor

I choose this college because it was the best college in my area and I wanted to stay near my house. I applied to a lot of colleges like CET, Barton Hill and I am got admission there but I didn't go. I wanted to stay near my parents. Which was a good decision. I got into all the colleges I gave but I choose this college. When comparing with other Colleges , my college doesn't have much campus area or the strength, or that much exposure but it had heart and a bunch of really good facutilies. The admission process is like this After 12th you have to write KEAM , you have to qualify that is 12 marks and according to your rank you can get seats here. Merit seats - below 25k Management seat- above 25k You have to apply online and after the allotment you can come to the college and complete the admission, the faculty and the senior students will help u through this process. My review about College of Engineering, Adoor

The admission process is mainly by entrance exam and there is also management quota.The fees for management quota is almost double than the merit quota. The allotment process is done through the KTU University portal and college is allotted according to the rank of the entrance exam.There is a fee of 10000 should be paid to the University, if you got a merit admission with a fee of 35000 period year. The admission process takes around 3 to 5 hours at the allotted college. We have to fill the application, other consents, etc....Read More
