About Vidya

As per KTU every saturdays is a holiday. But in our college this is not followed. They have classes on first and third saturday. Sometimes even on second and fourth. This is so hard for some student who is staying in hostel. This has to change.

KTU Curriculum is hard as i heard. But the first year looks pretty easy. There is Two Series Examinations and A Final University Exam at every semester. The series exam will have syllabus of almost 1 - 2 modules. And the Final examination will have all the of modules of the semester.

As of heard the placement and job oppurtunities are really good. As i have just entered the college. I can only tell what i have heard. But i have heard pretty good thing about the placement in our college. The chances are high for the students of CSE.

This is my first year. As this is my first year. The programs have just started. We had a onam celebration. Which was amazing. As a NRI i have never celebrated Onam in this kinda way. It was pretty good. There are many programs coming our way.

The fees structure is good. Cannot say its so expensive to study here. It is kinda same in all the colleges in Kerala. As i got seat in government quota its feasible. Vidya has a good facilities and stuff for the fees they ask.

MCM scorlaship for OBC students was the one which i opted for. This is for students who have income less than 2 Lakh. This was so helpful for me and the other students in the college. The college had us notified about the Scolarship and stuff. There are many other scholarship provided by Vidya for students who has good marks in 12th examinations. And there are scholarship examinations every year.

Labs are pretty good. As i am first time in a college. I feel like the school lab was nothing. They have everything which is required for the students to do their experiments. Its pretty big to be honest. They have separate labs for Physics, Computer, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics and many more sub labs. The sports is not that bad at all. They have a basketball court, Football ground etc. Our college is under a huge radius so it is really big college to be honest.

Seniors are pretty helpful in every part. Even if it is for a lift to near by spot. They help us clear our doubt. Help us if we have any doubt about the topics. And most of the alumini were pretty good as i have heard of. They were University rank holders. Which our teachers keep on telling us to improve us.

I wrote the KEAM Entrance examination to get into the college. But i already booked seat for management in the college before the KEAM results. When the results came. I got into government seat. The admission process was kinda Ok. I had to visit the college for submitting documents for like 3 to 4 times. But the faculty was good. And they supported as much as they can. First they called to sumbit the admission fees and some documents. Next time i went to register my application online to their lab. The faculty helped me to compelte the process. Next time after the KEAM results I had to visit the college

Faculty is pretty good. Everyone is well experienced. The lab and lab staff are experienced as well. Everyone is the college is pretty helpful for every students. They conduct frequent meetings for the help of students to help improve the faculty.
