CET has a brand value in Kerala. As it is only second to NIT, a lot of recruiters come to cet just for the brand value itself. CET hosts a lot of fests and other activities which ensure that the talents of everone is brought out.

CET is under APJKTU. The curriculum is common for all Engineering colleges in thes state of kerala. The curriculum is more focused on theory than on practical knowledge. there is a scope of improvement.

College has the highest placement rate among govt. engineering colleges in kerala. tbe average package is of 4LPA. Majority of the recruiters are from IT field. Core placements are low. Still amazon, bosch, abb selects students from campus.

for odd semester 8225 needs to be paid, for even semester around 3000rupees should be paid. So a total of 11000 rupees for a year is very cheap considering the fact that lot of institutes have huge fees.

There are several govt. and NGO scholarships active in the college. List of the scholarships offered and contact details for the same will be given to each student at the time of admission. apart from this there is scholarship and free hostel accommodation and mess for SC/ST/OEC students.

The best in state. CET has tbe most extracurricular activities among any colleges in kerala. Sargam, dhwani, drishti, disha are the star events. CET is a politically active campus which is dominated by SFI. therefore lot of political activities also take place here.

Cetaa is the alumuni association which is spread around the world and has many chapters in USA, canada, london, etc. Cetaa also hosts annual events and gives out scholarships to deserving students. Apart from that cetaa helps various student projects as well.

The entrance to the college is based on KEAM rank. Also students in Union Territories can apply on the basis of JEE Mains AIR. CET is the most preferred Engg college in Kerala with students with best ranks in keam exam joining it.

The faculty are the best in the state with everyone possessing post graduation or Phd from IITs or IISc. The professors have Btech from the best colleges in kerala. Also they will good teaching experience too.
