The infrastructure of our college is good. Even though the department is small, all the facilities from labs to the library are available. Being a part of the university campus. Placements in college are decent for core branches such as mechanical and civil, but CS and IT branches have massive placements. Many IT companies such as Amazon, TCS, IBM and Infosys recruit a large number of students.

Admissions are done on the basis of rank in CUSAT CAT through CUSAT Counselling. Civil Engineering. Computer Science and Engineering. Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Electronics and Communication Engineering. Information Technology. Mechanical Engineering. Safety and Fire Engineering.These are the engineering course offered in cusat. Number of Questions: In the examination, total 150 multiple choice type questions will be asked. Duration of Exam: The exam will be of two hours duration. Sections: The question paper will come in two parts. Marking Scheme: For the correct answer, 3 marks will be allotted to the candidates.

CUSAT is colourful in the sense of large varieties of programs conducted on the campus. Throughout the year at least two to three events can be found per month. The first main event is the celebration of Onam. Then comes tech fest Dhishna.And there is Arts Vipanchika and Sargam

B.Tech course fee at Cochin University of Science and Technology is INR 42,590 per year. The course fee for Bachelor LLB is INR 60,790 per annum. M.Tech course fee ranges from INR 29,170 to INR 109,400 per annum. The fee Structure for the course M.Phil is INR 7,300 annually.

Scholarship is available for the toppers students who will score maximum marks in semesters exam every year will get an amount of 10000. And for sc/st obc students many schlorships are also available.

University encourages extra-curricular activities outside the classroom that enrich cultural, physical and social life of students. The department will organize inter university, intra university and inter hostel cultural competitions and cultural activities and workshops in the campus.

For applying to B.Tech courses, candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board. Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects in 10+2 level. For graduation courses, candidates who have appeared for 10+2 exam are also eligible. The qualifying marks for SEBC candidates from the state of Kerala is 55% in aggregate and minimum 50% marks in Mathematics as well. An overall 50% mark in aggregate is required to apply for CUSAT CAT. For the rest, the qualifying mark is 60% in aggregate as well as Mathematics. Diploma or Vocational candidates are not eligible to appear for CUSAT CAT. The maximum age limit of candidate is 25 years as on September of the current year. Both Indian and foreign nationals will need to share the required documents. In case of applying based on state quota, domicile certificate is mandatory to produce during the final round of interview
