This is the best college for commerce after Goenka the college of business administration.

The course curriculum in this college is very good every subject is taught with full detail.

Placement Experience

I am in the first year so I don't know about placement but have heard from many seniors that being a govt college provides the best placement.

Many events are celebrated one of them is AURA or freshers.

I had paid 3600 which includes all expenses.

No, I haven't opted for any scholarships.

Campus Life

Every year annual sports day is celebrated. The campus life of the college is worth remembering. The college hosts various debates, and other competitions.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni and seniors are very helpful. They can help you out with any problem. Our union president is such a humble guy that I have never seen.

Admission

I filled up the admission form online and was selected on the basis of merit you can't take admission to this college by any illegal means.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is best. The teachers are very friendly and can clear your doubts very easily.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
