Course Curriculum Overview
The course consist of 8 semesters each with 2 practicals 2 internal exams and 1 semester exam. Internal exams are out of 20 marks which is now changed to 40 marks semester exams are out of 100 out of which 45 marks should be scored inorder to pass the semester
Placement Experience
The college is eligible of accreditation and placement cells are available for computer science and electronics and communication batches. The placement oppurtunities are a bit low for other streams but still they have good placement options.
College Events
Arts day, sports day, union day day, Holi, Diwali, vishu, and so on. Almost all the Indian festivals are celebrated in the college. All students join hands to celebrate everything together.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible for everyone the fee structure changes as per category such as sc, st, oec, obc. But still it is feasible for all the students in the college since it is a merit seat.

E grantz is the main scholarship offered by the college. It helps students of all categories to get pocket money and also money for their fees and stuff the college helps them get it readily and easily.
Campus Life
Sports day and extracurricular activities are available during each semester. It helps students get grace marks which helps them get more marks in exams and attendance in case of shortages the lab facility is good and the faculty is very supportive in case of projects and workshops.
Hostel Facilities
The college hostel is good.The food is available 4 times a day and during certain days, special items are also available. hostel is also feasible for studentssince the rate is decided as per the use of students mess cuts are made available.
Alumni/Alumna
They provide infrastructure funds and alumni network is fully functional the senior students helps the younger ones in studies and problems of all sorts. They are helpful in providing more experiences and oppurtunities to juniors.
Admission
I got admission to the government engineering college wayanad by writing the KEAM entrance exam which is suitable for students opting for engineering after the publishing the results the preferred colleges are allotted to students according to their marks in KEAM exam.
Faculty
The faculty is very supportive and helps in all ways possible the portions are covered as per time table published by the university. Students with lower marks are being helped by the teachers inorder to achieve more marks.
