Remarks

College is quite a peace place to live in,it is like the spiritual heaven.The place is ideal for research and exploration.Though some bad elements are also quite prevelaent in the college but they are not an issue as such.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum with recent update has been quite good.Meets the requirements in every expect also the curriculum has been refined to reduce the working hours as well as stress on students.The newer guidelines of AICTE has been reflected in the new course.

Placement Experience

Placements are taking lace with over 100% placement every year.The Training and Placement cell is quite effective and efficient in its working.The college as such does not provide internship but the professors and other seniors guide you how to score one.

College Events

Events in the college were quite low profile until last year.Now they have gained pace 1) Diksha freshers 2) E Summit 3)Le festus cultural fest 4) Parakaram tech fest 5)lit fest 6) YP and MUN And many more

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite affordable as compared to other colleges.the entire degree of the BTech costs around 13 lakhs which I guess is quite a bit considering today's market.The overall expensives are also very less in the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

As such no scholarship is provided by college but it does have concessions for reserved category students and other.Also has concessions for service men wards.College also supports affordable student loans.

Campus Life

Sports are quite nice and interesting.the annual sports fest keeps the playing students busy.As such no special attention or specific achievement in sports.Labs are suprisngly well equipped with modern computers and instruments

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are one of the best part of this college.Quite helpful and friendly seniors they treat the right way by keeping you in the right path and continuously guide you through out.The ragging practices are practically non existent

Admission

You give an all India jee exam in which your merit list is created following ranks of an individual.The college allocattes the stream and courses following choices of an individual priority to their rank in her mains exam

Faculty

Faculty of the college is quite good.But could be quite strict and difficult at times but that is the experience an individual should also face.Few faculty members are quite renowned in their fields of research and are reputed individuals.

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

Jaypee university of information technology solan

I applied for Chitkara, Cu, Du, HPU, SRM etc and the main reason I choose this college is because of the studies, placement and location. The study culuter in this unversity is very good as compared to other university . The student Teacher ratio not very large as compared to the other university which give every students a chance to stand out and get better results . I got acceptance from cu , du and 2 or 3 other colleges. Yes i also got rejections from colleges like SRM , VIT for not scoring a good percentile in jee and the fees and cost of living there i svery high as compare to JUIT . The admission process is very easy students can apply on the basis of their boards marks or on the basis of their JEE exams as well . After that students can attend the counselling sessions where they can vbisit the college get to know about the college . the admission staff is very helpful and they guide the students and family step by step throught out the whole process....Read More

JUIT- beautiful place

I applied in thapar, jiit, juit and Manipal. I got admission in all of them but I chose juit. I didn't go to jiit because my parents thought that environment of juit would be better. Also they were a bit hesitant to me living in Delhi for my graduation as people are very young during graduation. Didn't choose manipal as juit was better in every aspect other than placements. I had got admission in Jaypee noida but in 128 sector and also stream was IT which I didn't preferred so I left that.
