Its my college no negative remarks! Positive is the quality of output from mysore medical college, the quality of doctors mmc producing is extra ordinary and in society you will have better standards if u are from this college

Exam is yearly and we will have internals where you have to have average and attendance, and yearly yearly u will have exams at the end of year usually December except for first in which it will be in june-july

Job no care! Once u are a mbbs holder ur job ia fixed, but as everyone is behind specific specialities u need to prepare for pg neet, and intership is the period which gives u max knowledge about the practical issues

College Events

Mysore medical college is known for its extra-curricular activities, in first years u will have socials, in 2nd year ethnic day, and in 3rd u will be organizing fest and sports event and in final year magazine

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, except cet fees at first year u meed to pay in college some more and the hostels are ok ok but good, hostel is feasible and have variety of food menu, u will have be memories in hostel,!!!!!!

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships is the one you will get from college that is MAA scholarship and other scholarships are also available if their criteria is fulfilled, you can apply for scholarships like MHRD, epass etc but can only apply for one!!

Campus Life

Mysore medical college is known for its extra-curricular activities and we conduct college level fests and we participate in each and every university competition and also we have acquired all round championship in the year 2019

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is OK for government set up and qell old enough also since it was built in 1960 already celebrating jubilee but hostel need to be renovated but good enough ti stay by now and good waste management and water management and mess is good with weekly feest well maintained

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni is best in Mysore medical college because not only the graduates are from local India even they are alumni students from outside India too forming mysore alumni association helping poor students in form of maa scholarship

Admission

Through kcet, i got admission in prestigious college of karnataka, the place is awesome for studies and the college is in centre of heritage city which makes college special for students, and the academics ia awesome

They are such nice gem, they teach so well, all are well trained in medical colleges, and the teachers are highly qualified and teaches so excellent and u need a extra bit of effort to push u with excellent result at the end

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

Mbbs course is one of the high respective course. We want to face many struggles during exams. But in future we will become excellenct doctor. Exams are not that much tough, but still passing marks in mbbs course is 40% (cbme curriculum). Last year it was 50% passing marks. We want to practice diagram for anatomy and physiology we want to write short notes.

The first batch of students is passed out in this year from our college. Now they are doing their house sutgency. Besides they are preparing for their pg studies.
