The only negative point is the development done by the urban local body which has divided the campus in 2 parts. Other than that it is a place which will always be remembered. The architecture is beautiful and you'll feel proud of being a part of the Institute.

The course curriculum is pretty old for computer engineering. The syllabus should be updated according to the new industry needs. Exam structure is like this: T1 for 20 marks. T2 for 20 marks. End sem for 60 marks. This makes it 100.

The placements and job opportunities are good as compared to other colleges. Many companies visit the campus every year. Companies also come for internship hiring. We are supposed to give interviews of the companies we want to get interned in and if selected we get the internship. The stipend goes from 0 to 100000rs per month.

There are lots of events celebrated in our college. Mindspark is the annual technical festival.Then there is annual social gathering. Regatta is annual boat festival. Then there is the annual sports event Zest.

The fee structure is feasible. The college fee is 85000 - 90000 and hostel fee is 27000 - 30000. In case of reserved categories the fees is almost half or even less. For NRI candidates the fees is in dollars so it is little expensive as per the quality provided.

Scholarship are available but they are only for the reserved category students. Reserved category students can really get them with a decent score. But any student can avail loan facilities. The college has a tie up with SBI and it has a branch in its campus itself.

There are a lot of extracurricular activities, decent labs and almost every sport is available to be played. There are 30 clubs, all with different interests. There is also a cultural team that gets awards every year in drama, dance and music. Sports teams are also active in each sport played here.

There are 10 buildings in the hostel campus in which 8 are for boys and 2 for girls. The hostel campus is a house for about 1000 boys and 400+ girls. Facilities: internet connectivity in every room, playground is large enough to play any sport, there is a dispensery, telephone booth etc.

The college has a very strong alumni network which includes celebrities, motivational speakers, religious heads, technical gurus, etc. These people are very active with whatever help is required. Many of the alumni also participate in the placement drive of the college for hiring students.

We are supposed to give the MAHARASTRA state entrance exam called CET. Then after the exam we have to fill a form about our preferences of college and branch. Then the CAP rounds occur. If we have a decent score we get selected.

The faculty at COEP is decent. You don't get good teachers for each course but there is atleast 1 good teacher per semester. They cover the syllabus on time and give the children enough time to study for their exams.
