Positive part:best architecture department in Kerala (4th rank in india) Good placement cells and ensure the students get equal job opportunity for their respective departments College contains more than 50 clubs

Course Curriculum Overview

Each 2 module examines by series exam and lab exam ,other small test conducted about the various subjects and other environmental related and social issues .for writing examination notebook valuation and lab record must be signed.last university exam

Placement Experience

Placement and jobs are through campus placement.CET is one of the best college that provide more number of placements.It also provides internship.There is an INTERNSHIP CELL CET unit that provides stipend and better internships.

Disha :Mainly for freshers.It includes cultural events during 2day program Drishti :It is a big technical festival in College of Engineering Trivandrum Dhwani : it a big cultural festival in our college to enhance the cultural programmes among college students

Fee Structure And Facilities

fee structure for college is feasible.hostel and mess fees are little expensive.Monthly we have nearly 5000 for hostel and mess fees.College fees are only university fees because CET is the government college.

I gets a government scholarship,Mcms scholarship.College also offers some scholarship for back ward students backgrounded students.and it is short in number.College scholarship gets some students in College of engineering trivandrum.

In CET main attraction to the students is good quality internship cell and and good lab in all departments.in CET lab are the most effective in working and also join so many extra activities like sports etc

I opted hostel outside the college Because it is nearer to the college but college hostel is at a some distance . There 7 engineering students in my hostel and they sharing whole the tent of the building

They are very helpful for achieving our goals .The alumni’s of college started well disciplined well oriented placement cell with quality job opportunities and also they provide good financial backbone of all cultural and technical fest

Admission

After getting top rank in entrance examination,I got a chance to join CET in architecture department in first allotment, but after the 4th allotment I changed to civil engineering due to my higher option in the my college list is CET with civil engineering

Faculty

They are very honestly.the mode of teaching lecture note and discussion and also provide all details about the current situations.ppt presentation is also a mode of teaching and they responsible for any doubt about the subjects

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Life at CET

This college is the best government college in Kerala. It has been consistently first in KIRF ranking. It has very cheap fees. The campus is very beautiful and spacious (about 200 acres). My best choice of colleges very IITs and NITs like most people. I couldn't crack JEE. I only applied to this college because I had very high ranking in KEAM exam and was confident of acceptance. KEAM exam is a lot easier to crack than JEE. It has basic higher secondary school syllabus. To get my course you would have to be around 700th rank. To get other courses in my college you can have rank as low as 20k....Read More
