yes, it is a government college hence govt funds the education of children reserved categories get very nice waving in fees. It is not expensive at all. It is very affordable for the students studying here

scholarship is provided to reserved categories like scheduled castes and scheduled Tribes their fees gets discounted funds for buying laptops were given to many deserving students of the college

extra curricular activities are promoted by the college. Many cultural fests are there so that students can put forward their talents labs are well maintained and disciplined ecupments are new and fresh.

keam examination was conducted by ktu after the cbse examination rank list was published and i secured a rank of 545.my name appeared in the merit list. I got admission to cse branch of college of engineering Trivandrum

Faculty

the faculties are very sincere notes and pdf are provided.continous evaluation pattern is followed using tutorial questions and assignment questions. They award students justifiable marks without partiality

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

Life at CET

This college is the best government college in Kerala. It has been consistently first in KIRF ranking. It has very cheap fees. The campus is very beautiful and spacious (about 200 acres). My best choice of colleges very IITs and NITs like most people. I couldn't crack JEE. I only applied to this college because I had very high ranking in KEAM exam and was confident of acceptance. KEAM exam is a lot easier to crack than JEE. It has basic higher secondary school syllabus. To get my course you would have to be around 700th rank. To get other courses in my college you can have rank as low as 20k....Read More
