Remarks
No unofficial celebrations are allowed in the college campus everything needs its permission to happen and it's all conducted by the students. We have a total of 7 day IV which is a very less number of days compared to the other colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
Engineering in cse consist of learning some amount of languages and also the common subjects we deal will python, java, c, c++, assembly commands, terminal commands and sql. We have 8 semesters and each semester consists of 6 subjects each. We have credit system which we must have to move on to the next year or else yearout procedure.
Placement Experience
The placement cell in our college does it pretty well our faculty encourage the students from the very 1st year and make the children aware of the happenings the teachers always share the students placed in different areas. Tcs is our main placement hub and many other companies too. We have internship programs taking place in our campus itself in the vacations. Also we have Red Hat courses which are very helpful.
College Events
Taking about the celebrations am proud to be a Vastian we have number of celebrations taking place in our college. And we celebrate it to the maximum. Our techfest is celebrated with the most enthusiasm with all branches introducing their special events. We have motor shows, hackthons and many other contest taking place. And onam is the other everlasting event taking place. All colors come into action with the flow. Branches marches is all directions displaying their costumes and programs. We have ona sadya too conducted by each branches. Followed by Christmas with all red decorations. And college day is also a grand event too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is really feasible and if we need any concession we can approach the management directly and we have real privileges we can avail it from the government too. All reservations are considered here.
Fees and Financial Aid
If we score above 90 percent in English and maths in our 12th we can have direct scholarship which is given by the college directly. And many other scholarship based on your KEAM score is directly given from government. We also have scholarship if we score well in our exams too.
Campus Life
We are well off at sports. The recent play was being the E-zone and Inter-zone champions in kabaddi. Our football team has also backed prizes. There is a good cricket team too. And I guess we are not well off in arts events out of college. We have all reputed lab which has all its facilities.
Hostel Facilities
Am basically a hostler. And i love to be here my parents are abroad so i feel this is my second safest place after my home. Its maintained well looked after by our wardens an resident tutors. We have all our cultural events taking place at our hostel too.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is not that strong in the campus hope to have a good time in the future. Our seniors were our inspiration they taught us how to be a senior and how we must have our stand. Our events are all conducted with all enthusiasm by our seniors. They were well off with knowledge and even shared things with us. They said what to do next and how and when too.
Admission
First i wrote the KEAM exam which is conducted by state government. And i have cleared that exam and entered in the rank list published. After that we where given college preferences in the KEAM site and i selected Vidya Academy of science and technology thrissur as my choice and opted for computer science. And in the 3rd allotment i got the seat and reported the college and took admission.
Faculty
We have a large faculty who are supporting and meets our demands if we approach them well. We have a great choice of members who are skilled in different areas. Most of them are PhD holders and Professors.
