Positive part of the college is that it provides a good surrounding to the students to study and the allumni are helpfull as well the seniors are also helpfull in nature and the distractions are less in no. Where as the negative part of the college is that the location of the college because of which no. Of companies not preffered to come here for recruitment of the students

Course is same as for all the btech students Course includes theory as well as practicals which helps in the enhancing the practical knowledge of the student which they required when he or she joined the industrial area in future. Exam structure is semester wise there are total 8 semester in the btech. Course every year there are 2 semesters. In one semester 2 times exam taken by the college 1st one is midsem which are of 30 marks and next one is the final exam of 50 marks held in the last of the semester and the remaining 20marks consists of assignments,class test and there's 100marks for the practicals also which held in the last of the semester

PLACEMENTS-When we come to any college than we first know about the placements of that college .so the placements of nit hamirpur is with not that much high packages but the average placements of nit hamirpur is good as I am the student of ece its placement percentage is 93% and average is 6.5lac per annum and expect cse branch for other branches its Littlebit less than that Comes to the internship programmes students do there internships by there own some of them also get placed where they done there internship

There are two main events of fests that are celebrated in our college NIMBUS-Which is our technical fest in which students make there projects and different clubs also make different projects ,No. Of different colleges also take part in the events happend in the fest such as robo war and many other,every year there's a different theme fir the fest and according to the theme projects has been made events and the second one is HILLFFAIR-This is the main cultural fest on the Nit hamirpur in which students of the college take part . Every club of the college play there own role And other than these fests there are no. Of events take place in the college

Fee structure is different according to the caste or the income of the particular student if student is St/Sc and the annual income of the student is less than 1Lac than the semester fees is around 10000 and for others fees is around 74000 and for both fee structure changes according to the even or odd semester And the hostel fee is same for all whuch is around 25000 including the hostel (stay charges) I think this is affordable fees

I only konw one scholarship provided by the college is for fresher's those come directly after the 12 class without any gap after the 12th And for the loan there's a branch of sbi bank inside the college where you can get the loan easily

labs are very good having all the required equipments and good infrastructure newly designed,and on the other hand there's allot of scope in sports as well every year there's a inter nit meet between nits and also inter branch competitions are also held in the colleges and About extra curricular activities there's a college fest every year in the October month Hillffair in which students perform different activities such as dance ,acting,poster making , designing,fashion parade and many more. There are no. Of clubs for different interests such as Fine arts,DND,natti club,bhangra club, discipline club, finance club, dramatiC's club,dance club, English club,app team etc.

Nit hamirpur campus in one of the best campus in India's engineering colleges so comes to hostels the infrastructure of the hostels are very good and as well as the other facilities are also provided inside the hostel such as Gym(not in all hostels),indoor tt and badminton court,Tv room ,wi-fi facilities

As i above mentioned that alumni network is very strong. There's a regular alumni meets happen in the college regarding the guidance to the students Whereas. The seniors are also helpful in nature they provides there notes and also guide there Juniors whenever junior approach them.

1.After 12th you have to fill the exam jee mains which held 2times in a year one in april and one in dec. Or jan may be 2.After that you have to wait for elthe results and you check your results on the official website jossa.in 3.if you cleared the required cutt off than you are eligibile to fill jee advanced i.e. for IITs and otherwise you can wait for the counseling round 4. In the counseling round you can fill your choices accordingly in the same website jossa by opening your profile and than after according to the cutt off of the respective colleges you fill if you are under the cutt off rank you got seat in that particular branch in the mentioned college

Faculty is good well qualified faculties from iits as well as from nits and they are also supportive in nature they teaches in a very polite way and in both languages hindi and English because there are no. Of students in the class come from different corners of the country and also from the other countries so to clear there doubts and to teach them the topic teachers tried every possible way and time to time teachers also guids the students what to do after graduation about the exams ,jobs etc.
