Remarks

Politics Is the worst part of this college. They makes querrels amoung students. Gives fake promises. They are stooding up for their own good. They creates fights in the campus . They should be banned.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good.We are following 2015 scheme. Exam structure is like having internal out of 40 and external out of 60 .total 100 .There is tight exams were we spend sleepless nights and toil hard for the success.

Placement Experience

College provide internship. Placements are good here.i got chance to attend 3 companies placement drives .They offer nice package also. Computer science is getting the highest percentage of placement .

College Events

College arts name vipanchika .college sports named asthra. Tech fest named dhishna. All are fine here .Good ambience. Good friends . Late night parties, Drives everything. University grants permission for all of them

Fee Structure And Facilities

If you are coming from the state merit session then the semester fee is around 24000 . If it's through all India merit it is around 40000. And for nri quota it is around 55000. State merit is feasible

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided by government. E grants is provided for students of backward community. Sc/St students are getting allevance in their studies. Also University provides helping hands for the toppers of exams

Extra curriculars are good here .we have sports, arts, techfest all kinds of stuffs. Our teachers helps us in performing and our friends also . Good college to study .there is so much time and space here

There are many hostels for boys and girls. They are also having limited rate as rent.mess is fine . We can enjoy our College days here. Infrastructure is good. All kinds of facility are provided. Good living space alsi

I worked hard for the entrance exam . And I got here on civil engineering .I was good at cricket .I had a beautiful +2 life . I spend so much time on my studies. I got here through CAT exam. I passed the interview session also

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

My journey at CUSAT: A students perspective

I also wrote KEAM exam along with CUSAT in which I was able to secure a rank well enough to get Mechanical Engineering in CET, Trivandrum which I got in allotment. But since my mind was already set to take ECE as my degree due to my interest and passion for electronics and computers. And yes I do recomment CUSAT to everyone. To join CUSAT you have to write the CUSAT CAT entrance exams and then the seat are allotted based on the rank you earn in the entrance examinations. And usually a rank around 1k can get you CS, 1.5k can get you ECE and SFE, 2k can get you IT, 3.5k can get you EE and 7k can get you ME and CE....Read More
