Engineer student

Our college is on the hilltop. There are college buses available for transportation . And also college is enriched with natural beauty including one side with sea and other side with mountains . With that nature and friendly teachers we have the best time there.

BTech course is a four year course. Our college is under newly formed university , Apj abdul kalam technical university. Since we are the first batch we were tested many times . They changed the rules , exam types etc. Exams where ok but the valuation system was a big problem in this university.

Placement is good . Many companies came to our college for recruitment. Also there is a placement pool consisting of 5-6 colleges and our college is one of them . Our college is not providing internship . But since 2 internships are necessary in our university we should find ourselves the companies .

There are many events celebrated in our college . Union day , celebrating the newly selected union , there will be dance by groups of classes in the stage . College day , celebrating our colleges day which ends with dj night. Arts day , there are 5 branches which compete which other in various forms of arts to get the trophy. And also there numerous sports event in our college.

Fees depends on the seats . If it is a merit seat fees for one year is 35000 . If it is management seat fees for one year is 65000 and if it is NRI seat fees for one year is 105000. And also fees for sc/st is low.

There is a scholarship for obc students which is 10000 a year . It is given through the college by filling some forms. Other scholarships is for the son of a military person . If the student is son of a military person and also should have minimum mark in the academic they will get scholarship.

Labs are well setup . The machines and instruments are updated eventually. Also the lab assistants are good. There are different sports events , Annual college sports day - this is selection for the university level sports events. And also there are sports activities like Cricket tournament , football tournament conducted by the college.

Alumni association in our college is very active . Since some of the professors in our college is a former student they unite others to form this alumni association. They fund our college to built and start new programs .

By getting good rank in kerala entrance. Entrance exam consist of 2 papers , 1 paper is maths and the other is physics and chemistry . Our college is one of the top twenty engineering college in kerala state .

Faculty in our college is friendly. They help us a lot during these 4 years in academics and also in other situations also. They tried their best to make us good . Unlike other college teachers they didn't threaten us in the name of internals and attendance.
