Again mentioning it is IIT Kharagpur, the oldest IIT in India, It is one of the best in terms of research, placements and extra circullar activities. We have the best proffesors across the country and obviously there are positive marks.

We have mid semester and end semester examintation for each semester and a total of 8 semesters in my Engineering. We have to take some courses each semester. We have class tests and lab test each semester before and after mid sem.

Obviously studying in an IIT we have excellenet placement percentage. It is nearly 95%. Companies from all over the world come to our institute. Yes our college provides internships and since I havent done it yet I cant review about it but I am excited.

There are two major events counducted in our college. They are Spring Fest - the cultural fest and Kshitij - the Technomanagement fest. We also have General Championship happening in our college in fiels of sports technology and cultural events.

The fee structure is nearly 1lakh 40k for semester. I feel it is really expensive for a middle class person. It is 1 lakh 40k for semester which makes it nearly 3 lakh for year. Although we have many loan facilities it is difficult.

I am presently taking SBI Loan. There is a scholarship called MCM which is availed by many students whose family income is less tha 6 lakhs per annum. MCM stands for Merit cum Means scholarship. It is ver useful.

I have opted for hostel , the hostel infracture is Okay since it is a goverenment college and facilities are good. The food is above average and we also have night canteens in every hostel which are opened till late night.

Yes there is a lot of help from the alumni newtork in regards of placement and other funds and developing infrastructure of the college. Seniors are also very helpful guiduing their juniors to success.

All the proffesore have done Phd mostly from foreign colleges or IITs having done their BTech in IITs or Jadavpur University. A lot of research is done here. Most of the faculty are very pasionate and have good teaching skills but some have not that good teaching skills
