B.tech in computer science and engineering

Surrounding of college or locality of college is very bad. People from locality were very rude and we often Face problems due to backwards and narrow thinking of local people. Sometimes we get into fight because local people used to vist college used to harrase girl's. One time during Diwali holiday some local people entered into girl's hostel during night to take advantage of situation. So yeah very bad location.

There is lot of extra subjects which they never come in use after college, so I would say it was ok not good. Exam structure was good enough but sometimes it's get tough to crack the exam. About course if any person taking a specific course for the engineering it should be specific about the course. I mean there was lot of subject that if it was not there is will have no effect on computer science student.

There was none internship provided by college. Placement is average , i mean some company like Tata consultancy services come for campus placement in fourth year of college and they hire in bulk (20-30) students at 3.35 lpa. So there is not much placement opportunities. Sometime company offers lower than 2 lakh CTC, so in lack of placement opportunity students are forced to join.

There was a list of events which are celebrated in my college, like- Cultural fest named 'Anubhuthi'. It's an cultural event organized by students by collection of fund through various channel. In Anubhuthi we used to organized dance competition, singing competition, nukkad natak competition, and some fun games. We also held Sport's fest which is all about games named 'Tvaran'. Students from different colleges with technical background are allowed to participate only. And some other events like Teacher's day, children day, Independence day, Janmastami, Shivratri etc.

It's feasible 70,000 for per year for education and hostel and others charges are excluded. So i say it's not expensive but not feasible for everyone. If you wish to stay in hostel you have to pay hostel fee which is 10,000 per year. And for food there is joint mess which will cost you around 3000-4000 per month depending on you foods.

Scholarship were available for weaker economic students. It was more of state scholarship for students who come from weaker economically background. In which education fee and hostel get refunded about 60,000 per year. There was no loan facility available from college.

In extracurricular activities were like Sport's and cultural events were good enough. But labs were in very very bad condition, there was no enough instrument and lab assistant to complete the lab practice. In Computer lab there was some computer available but there were no one to guide you what to do. I will talk about sports facility , sports area was good but when you come to point where college have to spend some money from there fund it's get worse. There was no coach to training. So you have to learn by yourself.

Hostel were old and there was no infrastructure at all. I mean broken toilets and rooms if you say this is infrastructure so yeah there was infrastructure. Facilities were very poor there was not proper arrangements for drinking water and cleanness of toilets. Mess food was bad enough to make you sick and very sick like food poisoning. We have done complain about it many times but all that say is we have to pay hostel Worden money's so we don't get enough groceries to make food properly. So overall facility and infrastructure was very bad.

If anything was good in my college were senior's they were very supportive during college.I don't much about Alumni network. Senior's were supportive they were my teacher and coach to guide us during my college day's. So senior's were very helpful.

I had to give an entrance exam called UPTU entrace exam. After the result is out i had to go through a 3 round of counseling to get admission in this college according to ranked achieved in entrance exam.
