Remarks
I enjoyed a lot both the campus life and academics. I learnt a lot things not only related to academics but things which will stay with me longer and guide me through my life. I am feeling proud to call myself alumni of BGSBU. ThankYou BGSBU you taught me life.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is standard as you can find in most of NiTs and premier institutions. You need to work hard to get through exams as they are one of the toughest. 2 sessional exams and one end semester exam is there. You have score 40 marks in internal+External.
Placement Experience
As University is in a remote location so most of the companies find it hard to reach there and you are on your own But if you have got the skills this will not be a problem. As most of the alumnis are working in prestigious MNCs
College Events
Annual day. Engineering's Carnival Cultural Fest Musical Events Sports Events Tech fest And some more events are there which are celebrated every academic year. Most of the students participate in these events and learn alot of skills like leadership, entrepreneurship and team work
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure is a bit high but not that much. You may find a college with fee structure less but you will not regret your decision. As they only treat you as a customer not a student. Here you will learn decipline which forms a base for your success.
Fees and Financial Aid
You can get merit cum means scholarship from state University doesn't provide any scholarships. And loan you can avail from any bank as per your requirement. University will only provide you a Bonafide certificate which you can take to the bank for availing the loan facility.
Campus Life
Labs are very good equipped with latest machines. Sports activities are there you can play in University team after your selection. Trails for selection are held every year and you may get a chance to visit different places.
Alumni/Alumna
University alumni network is not so strong as placements are rarely from campus. But various aluminies are working in MNCs which are there to help you out. They will definitely guide you on your journey.
Admission
I saw a notification in local newspaper and i applied for the entrance. Entrance was held at 3 locations Srinagar, Rajouri and Jammu. I appeared at kashmir University Srinagar. Results came in a few weeks and as i was interested in CS got admission into that.
Faculty
Faculty is very supportive except some which are always in every college. But most of the faculty will always encourage you and help you in every way possible. Most of the faculty is qualified and master in their subject.
