I took IIT JEE in 2013 and got selected in guru Nanak dev university regional campus. Gurdaspur. I also appeared for the same university's MCA entrance test and I'm currently pursuing that.

The curriculum is apt according to the course. Its also very informative but I believe instead of having more theoretical subjects, the focus should be laid on technical education and quality education.

The campus placements are good. We are having a placement drive currently. Volunteering in such drives help us get a bit prepared for our times.

We have 'youth festivals' which is the main event organized by the university. In this fest, all the colleges under gndu compete with each other be it any cultural, creative or literary event. We have a huge no of participants for each of these from across all the colleges. Then we have another fest 'jashan' which is an inter-department fest. All the depts of the university compete with each other. Tech-fest is also organized by the university named as 'iris'.We had one back in 2013 and we have it again this year with much more events and much more fun. We have huge participation in all the events be it technical, cultural, creative, literary or fun events.also some events on a smaller scale are organized very frequently.

There are numerous scholarships available for lower caste students which are availed by them. The students who have any financial problems or physically handicapped students (any caste) are also offered a scholarship.

being a part of this university gives us immense pride, the campus life is good. we have various contests which give us a chance to enhance our talents. Also, we have a high participation in sports. Every year on the eve of Guru Nanak Dev Ji's birthday we have a huge Satsang and langar is served to all. We have a gurudwara in our campus.

Though I'm not a hostelite the hostels are good, they are on sharing basis. the facility of lift is also provided. Also, the food at the mess is good. We have a proper schedule for it.

The seniors are nice, helpful and friendly.
