A great place to start education

There is no such negative remarks about the college. Keeping up the spirits of the students is what the college does along with imparting education. It also encourages youth talents and participation in various events.

The course is systematically divided - history of literature, novels,plays, poems and stories. Class lectures and notes are to be noted down. And also relevant workbooks and a bit of self-note making would help. Exams are not taken as such unless required.

This college doesn't provide placements or job opportunities. It's just a college providing the basic education for undergraduates. But yes, a good percentage needs to be maintained in 3years course which will enable the student to apply for higher studies.

The college encourages the students in different co-curricular activities such as Debate, Quiz, Literary fields etc. Annual competitions are held in these fields during the college week. Important seminars, events and functions take place.

The fees structure is not at all expensive. It is affordable. And even if there is any problem that a student is facing, then the Principal and the staff members and committee try to sort out the problem and also help students to take admission whose annual earnings is less than 5lakhs.

Loan facility doesn't come into question as the fees structure is affordable for everyone. Scholarship as such is not available. If still anyone wants to take a loan, he/she can avail a loan from their respective banks with the permission and signature of the Principal.

annual college week offers ample scope to the students to participate in various sports and cultural activities.The college also encourages the students to take part in different inter-college tournaments and in the University youth festivals. The college has an active NCC unit imparting training under 1 Assam Bn. NCC (Army wing) The NSS unit of the college arranges social service camps and undertakes programmes for social upliftment under the guidance of the Programme Officer. College has its departmental laboratories used frequently.

No. I haven't applied for hostel as the college is of travelling distance from my house. But according to the information acquired from my peer group, the hostel infrastructure is pretty good. Food made here can be eaten and facilities provided are nice.

The alumni network is very strong and seniors are very positive oriented and supportive. Any kind of help would be provided to a student who is in need. It uplifts the overall development of the students inculcating morals and values.

Student should Pass the Assam Higher Secondary Final Examination (10+2) or its equivalent from the All India Boards/Councils (i.e. CBSE, ISC and National Institute of Open Schooling). Accordingly, after this the form needs to be filled up that is available in their website and to be submitted before the mentioned date.
