Course Curriculum Overview
The duration of the course was 3 years. The college environment was fabulous. The college full of all the facilities such as library with plenty of books, computer labs, laboratories and arts galleries. I used all these things in this college to gain my knowledge and skills. A semester exam was conducted by the college every semester.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities were not available for arts stream. But for other stream they were highly available. As many of out classmates wants to open Galleries and other want to go for competitive examinations. Hence students also don't focus on placement here.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure of the college was quite feasible as compared to other colleges. The fees of the college was about 25 thousands per year. I think the facilities given by the college and best faculty was the reason behind that. Scholarships were also available for talented students.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities were the strength of the college. Different quizzes, debates, arts competitions, seminars conducted by the college frequently. Students participated in it and improved their skills. I also learnt a lot from all these activities.
Hostel Facilities
College has good hostel facility. There were 2 hostel in the college. For boys and girls seperately. The hostel provided with all the facilities and it was clean and affordable. There were 3 students in each room. I also took the hostel in my 3 years of graduation.
Admission
I completed my 12th. I have an interest in arts. I also secured good marks in my 12th.Hence I chose one of the best college in assam for my bachelor of arts named as Goalpara College. The admission process is totally depends upon merit basis. Hence I got here admission easily.
Faculty
The faculty of the college was awesome. They were friendly and helpful. They were always available for us to solve our all doubts. Their creativity and imagination skills were just awesome. We acquired these skills from them and improved ourselves a lot.
