Mumbai is an expensive city so if you are an outsider it's going to be like a hole in your wallet but otherwise it's the best place in the country. Jai Hind college has the finest crowd and people are taught to be creative and disciplined there .If you are thinking of joining Jai Hind go ahead without giving it another thought.
Course Curriculum Overview
B.Com is a course which is supposed to be CA friendly. So truth be told it's a bit easy, and there is no rushing the syllabus. So students can easily cope with it, and at the same time follow there dream of being a CA
Internships Opportunities
No internships for BCOM are provided but a proper job at the end of the course is other courses like BMM have internships under big journalists.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are good and in a city like Mumbai you get a lot of opportunities and fortunately Jai Hind College provides the students with these.
College Events
At Jai Hind College there are a lots of events for every course. Students take active participation in them and get a lot of exposure. Like for Bcom there is Advertising Fest where we need to advertise our product and make sales accordingly.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since it's a government college the fees is really low. It's very affordable even to those who have financial concerns. Education cannot be quantified in terms of money. Jai Hind is a living proof of this.
Hostel Facilities
Sadly there isn't any hostel facility and the college in terms of land area isn't quite large either. But then in Mumbai anything isn't large in terms of land. The college makes up for these drawbacks with its epic location just opposite to Marine Drive and near the Churchgate Station.
Alumni/Alumna
Our alumni mainly consists of actors and other celebrities. They are forever ready to support the College in whatever way possible. Because all of are proudly Jai Hindites.
Exam Structure
There are two semesters in an year and in every semester there are internals for 30 marks and externals for 70 marks. Also the class attendance is taken into consideration.. sometimes assignments are also given.
Admission
After the 12 th result apply for MU and fill up the college form and then wait for the merit list.There are 3-4 merit lists and also Sindhi quota is there in the college. If your name appears on the list you need to secure your admission within 3 days time.
Faculty
The faculty in the college is amazing. Teachers there are like friends and mentors put into one. They make it very comfortable for the students to their thing and also encourage us to be creative.So that we can race the world
