Course Curriculum Overview
It's pretty standard curriculum. Exam Structure includes a Sessional exam at the end of every semester. And a University exam preceded by a Pre University exam at the end of every Academic year. There are also End posting exams and other regular and surprise exams in between.
Placement Experience
There no such placement thing in the medical field. We get internship through our college with really good stipend. After graduation the students can either go for their own clinics or practice by remaining attached to a hospital.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since it's a private college the fee structure for the college is very very expensive. The fees are Rs 18 lakhs per annum which makes it to Rs 90 lakhs for a period of five years. The college can availed by a particular section of people because only they can afford it.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is okay okay. Not that good. Rooms are not that spacious. Mess food is also pretty okay. The washrooms are clean and hygienic. The inn timing for the hostel is 9 pm for girls. Hostel warden is a bit cranky so as to ensure that security is tight.
Admission
Admission to undergraduate medical courses is through NEET UG. The college takes in students purely on the basis of merit ie on the basis of neet scored. I scored 540 in neet and could get admission into the college.
Faculty
The faculty of the MBBS course at Amrita School Of Medicine is highly skilled and qualified. Post Graduate Doctors are entrusted the task of training young minds for the medical profession.They teach in such a manner that the subject us clear to the student. The use of power points and animations by the teachers aid in making students understand the subject.
