Remarks
The infrastructure is great and the campus is also big. There are a lot of fields for playing cricket, football and there's also a basketball court. Almost All the hostels are inside the campus so there's no cost of transportation.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is a wide one, it includes all the electeonics section as well as the communications one. The final semester exams are of 70 marks each with 8 objective kinda questions,3 short answer type questions and 3 long answer questions.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunity is nice. If the student has the idea of their subjects and they know coding, and know how to interact ,they can get a job. It provides a internship but with no stipends.
College Events
There are many events organized in my college. The biggest of them is prayukti, which is a tech-fest which continues for about a week, it includes all kinds of competitions in which students participate and they get to win prizes and in the last two days live shows are organized.cultural fests like rangmilanti is also organized.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite feasible. The hostel fee is also quite affordable.overall its not at all expensive compared to other engineering colleges.The fee is about 80000 per annum and thats alot less compared to alot of colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a scholarship program for the students who are very poor, and for them the college fee is very minimal.its about 4000 rupees per year for the students who are really poor. And for getting that scholarship the student has to apply and there's a interview of the student to give the scholarship.
Campus Life
Our college provides all kinds of facilities for extracurricular activities including dancing, singing, writing,sports, and labs too. There are auditoriums in our college where small small things are irganized.
Alumni/Alumna
Some of the seniors are helpful while some of the seniors take advantage of their seniority and there's lot of suppression going on the junior students.but ut also includes good and helpful students who help in the academics as well as other co-curricular activities including sports like cricket, football, basketball etc.
Admission
I had to give an entrance exam known as WBJEE. The exam is of objective type. After the results, i had to do online counselling and select the colleges and the courses i want in,and i was alloted haldia institute of technology ,i had to lock my choice and then take admission.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is quite ok. I won't say all the faculties are great but most of the faculty know their subjects and they know how to teach but the faculties also include some inexperienced teachers.
