Remarks
The programs held here really bad and don't give out a college vibe as seen in other colleges. Senior junior interactions are very minimum because of this. But infrastructure wise this college is awesome. Its like a premier hotel. Many high profile students study here.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus is old and bulky even though the university says its updated. We do learn courses which are completely unnecessary that won't be used at all. The exam structure not much great. One week study holiday will be provided before the semester exam starts. Gap between two exams are maximum 2 days buts mostly one most of the times.
Placement Experience
If you study here and have no backlogs by the starting of final year you'll surely get placed somewhere. Core companies are there but only the smartest ones gets it. By smart i dont mean just by marks includes the technical knowledge and the character of the personnel. The main fact is here is even if you dont get job in your core company you still get a Job. Most companies are from IT sector
College Events
Techshektra(Techfest) Abhiyanthriki (Techfest) Bharatham(arts fest) Must be at least 200 characters To be honest I really dont like the programs/events held in college because the college management don't allow any program after 4.30. All events or fest start from 10am to 4pm. There is nothing much to enjoy as such. No matter how far the students try to make the program more enjoyable for the people the college management dont allow it.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its feasible i guess. Its around 85k for seats attained through entrace exam. And scholarships are provided for people of different castes and all. Also for students who are exceptionally well in sports and academic.
Fees and Financial Aid
Don't really know much about this. Many types of scholarships are available. Two of my classmates have scholarship and have 0 tuition fees. And few others have discounted tuition fees for scoring 90% and above in 12th standard.
Campus Life
When it comes to lab I can proudly say the best of the best. There is college gym and place for all types of sports. There is a cricket ground maintained by kerala cricket association(i dont remember name right). Many celebrities have come here to play practice matches.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel and the food is pretty good though its bit on the costly side. Different types of room are available like single , double , triple with various rates. Triple rooms are the cheaps with room rent for 1 academic year at 35k. Double 45k Single 55k. The figures may vary yearly. The food cost for a year is 45k.
Alumni/Alumna
I don't have connections to anyone in the alumni but yeah the seniors are helpful. Most of them are placed and few of them went for futher studies and all. If required they are always glad to help.There is funding from the alumni for the techfests held in college.
Admission
I got seat through NRI admission. Booking starts an year earlier from the commencement of new academic year as its one of the top private colleges in Kerala with 98% placements. NRI seats fills fast at very rate compared to other colleges
Faculty
There are only few teachers and lab assistants who teach exceptionally well. The rest are well educated and comes from various sectors of the industry but when it comes to teaching , they are really boring and failed to hold the attention of the class.
