Remarks
Every thing mentioned above can come and contribute positive remarks about the college so I need not mention it here. The remarks which I feel as negative can be the location of college outside the city but still that's not very big issue. another negative remark not just in this college it's around every college is 75% attendance ?.which everyone will feel after joining the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is as per New CBCS pattern.exam will be conducted as 2 quiz of 10 marks one midsem 25 Marks then end sem of 50 Marks and remaining 5 Marks is in the hands of teacher how he/she choose to give either on the attendance or any assignments. Attendance here is strictly 75% required.
Placement Experience
As the name suggest BIT is as par with most of NIT's and many IIT's.There are many reputed multinational companies visiting the campus and offering job.so if you are good there is high chances of campus placements.The company visiting the college also provide internship.since I am in 2nd year currently so I haven't experienced it.
College Events
As the event's are concerned there will be multiple events going in college throughout.There will be lot fest.Major fest are PANTHEON the annual tech fest of BIT Mesra which is one of the biggest techfest of Eastern India.Then you VAJRA the mega sports fest of BIT Mesra.and biggest of all BITOTSAV the annual socio cultural fest of BIT Mesra and one of the biggest college fest of Eastern India.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure here is quite high as equal as the private colleges. It's around 1.3-1.5 lacs per semester including the college tuition fee, exams fee, transportation fee, boarding and mess fee of the hostel.
Fees and Financial Aid
There Are scholarship offered by college also to economically weak students every semester if they get gpa above 8 and it's divided in sub groups like between 8-8.5 you get 20% of tuition fee and so on. Regarding bank loans when you will reach college for taking admission there will be camp's of almost every bank inside the college they themselves will come to you for loan if you want.and it's very easy to get those loans.
Campus Life
Labs facilities is as par with any big reputed college of India.you get Atmost facilities in the lab of almost every Branch. Regarding sports you have a very large and beautiful sport's complex in the college with a gym.there is court or ground for most of the game you would like to play.
Hostel Facilities
As college is fully residential so you have to opt for the hostel and that's comfortable also. Infrastructure is good of every hostel.In first year you will get 2 seated room and mess food will be not so good.from 2nd year onwards it's single seated room and mess foods are also very good.
Alumni/Alumna
Since i am currently a student and in second year only so I don't have much knowledge about alumni network. But as per seniors are concerned they are very friendly and very helpful on every issue or doubts.
Admission
You have to Qualify in JEE Mains.then you have to go for counseling.if you are willing to take admission here you have to select BIT Mesra and corresponding branch in rankwise order.you will get the college and corresponding branch as per you All india rank in JEE Mains.
Faculty
Faculty are good at par with any other colleges of same reputation.good mixture of young and old faculty.as every college some are very good at teaching and giving concept some are not. overall it's a good experience.
