Scholarship: 1.Based on JEE main rank : Above 1000 -100% 2.Based on merit: Above 9.5 Gpa-100% 3.In case of sudden demise of earning member of family -100% tuition fees waived.

All you need to know before taking admission in BIT Mesra????

At time of admission you will be charged Rs 271500 + 35000 for mess and mess security Then afterwards approx 150k every semester college fee it goes upto 175k till last semester. And mess will be charged according to food. Here, You can get your scholarship only on the basis of merit (JEE Main Rank), i.e. For the General category if your rank is under 1000 you will get 100% scholarship on academic fee and same is for SC/ST if their Rank is under 5000 If your rank is in (1000-2500) for the general category, you will get 75% scholarship and the same SC/ST if your rank is in (5000-15000) If your rank is in (2500-4000) for the general category, you will get a 50% scholarship and the same for SC/ST if their rank is in (15000-25000)

I got this college via CSAB couseling and joined, its a decent - best college. Infra is also very good. Teacher and staff are helping nature. Campus is very big as 780Acr and many sports facilites provided here, Games, PT, Medical, Academic, And many more. Hostel are nice but room is too small for 2. Mess is good not best its not that bad afterall, I love the food sometime. Both veg and Non-veg. Student from abroad also came to study here, many culural fest held here, many club and socities are here. Campus is very bueatiful and big enough to explore like safari. Many trees and greenary

HONEST REVIEW

Attendance : Faculties are very strict about there attendence and if someone fail to get 65% attendence due to whatever reason they dont allow to them to pass the subject and make students sit for short sem exams whose fees is 1/3rd of college fees.

Tution fees increases every year including hostel and mess fees. Already fees is very high, many students take loans which is obviously burden for them. Bit mesra only give one scholarship which is GP BIRLA scholarship for the students who score more than 9 gpa, only few students gets this because the difficulty level for the exams are very high, other than this there is no any financial aid.

Life at BIT

Tuition fee structure is declared at the time of admission semester wise. There is no increase policy.Students can avail GP Birla scholarship that is avalable to students who excell in academics . Students are also eligible for government scholarships such as e-kalyan and NSP

Many professors need the bookish answer in semester exams.

Fees structure is too high and the specs according to fees of this college is not on favourable side. Tuition fees is too high. Scholarship programs are available as per gradings and Category. If you have good CGPA then you can apply for GP BIRLA SCHOLARSHIP and if you are under ST and SC Category you can apply for NSP and if you are OBC you can apply for E-Kalyan Scholarship.

The college is very good but the fees is high .

The fees is a bit on the higher side and hence many students take education loan.

The total course fee is 13 lakhs for 4 years with additional fees if you opt for hostel and mess.The total goes to 17 lakhs for 4 years if you opt for mess and hostel. There are scholarships for students both merit and need based.
