My college review

The atmosphere on our college will be very pleasant as it is full of trees. And it also helps a average student to secure a placement in campus interviews. But our college will not provide any training regarding gate exam. But some of our faculty members will provide the information if we meet them personally.

In my opinion course curriculum was far better compared to other colleges in my state. And every subject will be having 100 marks.On that 40 marks are internal and 60 marks are external. Internal marks will be given through mid exams there will be two mid examinations which are conducted for 40 marks each. After that both are reduced to 30 marks and then best mid score is taken for 80% and the remaining one is taken for 20% both are combined for total 30 marks remaining 10 marks will be given through assignment exam. Both are combined for 40 marks internal. External exam is conducted for 60 marks. Both internal and external marks are combined for total 100 marks for an exam.

The placements are good enough in our college. As most of the companies visting our college are IT companies but our college tries to bring some core companies also like Soctronics for our Electronics and communication department. Our college will not provide any internship. But in our curriculum intership is a mandatory course. We have to get our internship offer otherwise they will give random company intership offer. I have completed my internship in DRDO Hyderabad i got no stipend.

Our college have a festival named STEPCONE which will be celebrated every year during January and February. In this we are having both technical and non technical events. The events will be handled by the ISTE coordinators of every barnch.

The fee structure was little expensive. College fee is about 1 lakh rupees per year. And hostle fee is about 80 thousand. However the government of ap is providing 35 thousand rupees if we got good rank in eamcet exam and if we are eligible for scholarship.

Our college will offer the scholarship based on our eamcet rank. If your was less than 5000 in eamcet and if you maintain 90% attendence then our college will offer full hostle fees. If rank rank is in between 5000 and 10000 and if you maintain 90% attendence college will offer 30% of hostel fees as scholarship.

Our college will college will conduct inter college competitions where every department will form their own teams to compete with other guys. Our college will conduct competitions in cricket , badminton, basketball, football,coco ,volleyball. It also conduct competitions among faculties of different departments in cricket, badminton, volleyball.

Yes i have opted for Hostel. The Hostel block is different for every year student means no senior and junior will be in same block. There are total 5 blocks each block has more than 70 rooms and each room have 3 beds for 3 persons. Free net facility is available in the form of LAN. There are two mess blocks. There is gym facility available.

Some seniors will help regarding placements and placements training. Some alumni students will come and give some lectures about companies they are working for. And even some seniors will help in projects and in intership program company selection.

I got admission in this college based on my eamcet rank.After getting our name in admission list of this college in eamcet counseling we have to do report in the college on the date given by the college.And the reporting process is we have to submit all certificates according to the list given by the college on or before last date given by college. Once our certificates are verified in the reporting process we will get our admission.

Our faculty was very supportive in many aspects like they will give information regarding all competitive examinations. Some of my faculty have encouraged me to write an NPTEL online certification course. They will help in projects and term paper reviews.
