How will be your future if you choose Netaji Subhash Engineering College

Positive side of this college is this college is under Techno group. Being under such big group is a big advantage itself in the case of placements. This year near about 50-60% students are placed till now. And many companies yet to come. 3L-12L per annum various packages are offered by those companies. So if u are efficient you can grab the opportunity. And the negative side is it's infrastructure. It is really poor compare to other private Engineering College. There need improvement in many section like playground, lab , classrooms etc.

This is a four year course, as I'm student of ECE(Electronics and communication engineering) branch , there are mainly 10 must doing subject which is needed for GATE exam also. And our exam system is semester based. In every semester there are two unit tests and one final exam. The semesters are in the time between Jan-Jun & Jul-Dec. This system is for all colleges under MAKAUT ( Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology).

Honestly saying there are lots of chance , lots of opportunity to get a job. If you are improving yourself you will get a job of good CTC. For an example this year the highest paying package was 12L per annum. And the avg. Package is 4.2L per annum. This college is under techno group. And this year 235 companies has visited in every colleges under this group.

Every national event is celebrated in our college. Besides this there are many societies under IEEE. Those societies invite many international speaker in their events. Where they explore some new things and about some new technologies which are in trending. And if you are member of such society you can access many thesis paper and also can publish your paper openly in student portal.

Actually the total cost for the B.Tech. as per my concern 4-5lakhs in four years. 3.4 lakhs(approx 42000 per semester )is the cost of tuition fee which is decided by our University. And there are some additional charges like maintenance charge, caution money etc. Total 4-5 lakhs only for fees. After that as there is no hostel facility that's why who are from outside Kolkata , they have to stay in mess or paying guest rooms. Those costs are additional.

Yes if the total family annual income of a student is under 2.5 lakhs then he can apply for TFW(Tuition Fee Waiver). From this facility one has to pay only the additional fee of college. This is conducted by the University. The whole tuition fee will be removed. Without this facility there is tie up between Punjab National Bank and college , by which one can get the help of loan.

I will rate 1 out of 5, there is a very weak management of sports, there is no appropriate ground of sports. But there are many forums (for technical and cultural activities ) in college. There are branch of many divisions of IEEE(International Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers). So one can join any of them and can explore themselves in any section or any type of activities they want.

No there is no hostel facility from the side of college. At the time of admission the management told us that there is a hostel which is under process. But the work is not completed yet. So we didn't get any facility of hostel from college.

Actually in college every branch have their different alumni group. Our alumni group is very help. Honestly I don't know about other branches. In our branch they help us by money for improvement of technical instruments. They help us with ideas and various types of resources.

I had appeared in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination in 2016 and secured a rank 8323 ,after that I had appeared for the counselling process and after counselling I have got admission in this college,

Most of the faculties are good , 3-4 teachers are really excellent in our branch. But there is still need the improvement of faculties. And also the process of learning lab experiment needs to be improved. Some times due to the no of resources or instruments everyone can't do the experiment in hand.
