Remarks
I can say the infrastructure needs to be improved when it comes to sanitation and canteen. Overall the college was good being small and subtle. The environment was good with lovely teachers. If not the best, one of the best college in DU.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is at best comparing to what is being taught at other colleges within India. The exam is conducted semester wise. We have a short span of study period as starting of sesson and conducting of exam should end within six months.
Placement Experience
Placement is not at par with other colleges under Delhi University. My college doesnt officially provide any internship to its students. However we can take suggestions from our teachers. I also worked as an intern for two months. I got around 16000 per month as stipend. I got a lot of experience in the field of customer relationship management.
College Events
One would understand the number of events being celebrated in any delhi university colleges only when he/she is lart of it. Talking about the main events there is freshers meet celebrated after new admissions are over and farewell party at the end of semesters and in the mean time there will be college fest where there will be lots of activities including inter college singing, dancing, quiz competition.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As for my college, fee is comparatively low. So i would say it is feasible. In delhi university colleges since it is govt. Colleges they dont normally charge high and the amount of fees charged is justiable by the facilities one can get from the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
There arent any loan or scholarship provided by my college except the meritorious award given to the toppers of each department for securing highest marks at the end of each year. One can get scholarship from their respective states or central govt sponsored schemes.
Campus Life
There will be extra curricular activities every year. Sports will be conducted every tear too. Since our campus is small they conduct sports meet in other college which have large campus. One can get a good chance to showcase their potential in these activities.
Hostel Facilities
There is no hostel facility for our college. There are two campus of delhi university i.e north campus and south campus and all the colleges except some are built in the vincinity of the two campus. There arent any hostel facility for south campus colleges except some women college.
Alumni/Alumna
One would find some senior students really helpful if not all, however that is enough for understanding the atmosphere of students life in college. I have zero knowledge of our college alumni. In the initial year of my college life it is the seniors who had made me feel home alike far away from home.
Admission
Based on my marks in 12th exam. Normally there will be 5 phase of admission with certain criteria. When the first admission process is being announced they will put certain eligibility criteria say, if u score 95% in 12 exm you will be eligible for admission in this college and the process continues with the college reducing the eligibility criteria.
Faculty
Faculty of commerce dept are highly professsionals. There are lots of young lecturers who are highly skilled and motivated and are determuned to teach students with great enthusiast. From what i can see the faculty of other depts seems friendly too. When interacting one can understand the amount of helping hand any faculty is willing to lend to whoever is in need.
